The reviews are true! Money-minded doctor and staff that just wants to prescribe a lot of medicine. Consultation charge alone was over $160! Most expensive specialist in Singapore. I am in the process of filing a complaint to the Singapore Medical Council.

Receptionists - nice and friendly. The only thing is, i MUSTTTT reach by 630pm otherwise they cant “make an appointment” for me. And erm, i dun see any other patients waiting after me either. So, forget it, benefit of doubt. The doctor - Theresa Cheng. Omg theres a fine line between straightforward and upfront RUDE. This is my first time gg to a gynae, and how do i not feel scared when she tries to smear stuff over my privates and stick different stuffs INTO my privates and expectig me not to be fearful of whats going on and feeling all sick and uncomfy at the bottom? But she actually says “relax this is just a check up. Can you dun be so drama?” Yah, exact word. Well i dun have to say anything more. Your clinic isnt exactly the cheapest, why am i paying the same amt of high price that i can spend on other clinic and hear your nonsense. BYE.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. Extremely unethical and judgemental doctor. Overcharges LIKE CRAZY. I had Bacterial Vaginosis for the first time so I was not experienced on the treatments. The doctor put me on a COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY antibiotics IV drip + 3 different kinds of antibiotic pills and it cost me a total of $1,000. After that treatment, I found out that BV can be easily treated with just one treatment of antibiotic pills for only $50 or less. This doctor should be reported. Also, the clinic room and clinic beds (2nd floor of the clinic) are disgusting, unsanitary and I felt like I was in a third world country clinic - there were cobwebs, old furniture, hoarding of newspapers and paper bags. I took a pap smear too and they NEVER called me back about my results, I had to call them instead. Only upside of this clinic is that the nurses are friendly.

I've had my 2 pregnancies and 1 prior gyne issue taken care of by Dr Cheng. She took very good care of me and delivered 2 healthy babies for me. Yes she's old school and she's the type to tell you things straight up and if you listen you will see the benefits. She's always answered every question I had and took the time to check how I am at every visit. Her experience and knowledge is very reassuring. I've read the many negative reviews of her and my take on it is that if you don't feel comfortable with a doctor you should change it and it's really not necessary to leave such nasty comments to tarnish a good doctor's online reputation. She's a very senior doctor, her rates are not the cheapest out there. She manages her clinic on her own and runs hospital rounds every day before and after seeing her clinic appointments. From my experience, she could be dealing with an emergency delivery at any point in time so best to book your appointment after lunch and not so early in the morning to avoid waiting too long. Also, if you want a copy of your scan, ask for it, don't be shy. One thing I do enjoy about seeing Dr Cheng is that she's like a caring asian mom, she wants the best for you and will nag at you for things like unnecessary weight gain which I can understand why others may feel uncomfortable, 'judged' or even 'critizised'. But honestly it's really for your own good to keep your weight under control. You just need to work hand in hand with her to see yourself through a healthy and safe pregnancy. Don't take things too personally. I recommend Dr Cheng if you're looking for a very experienced and veteran Obs/gyne doctor. She truly cares for her patients and doesn't bother with fluff or sugar coating things which I appreciate very much. Thank you Dr Cheng for delivering my 2 beautiful and healthy kids (2017 & 2019) despite my worry of my prior gyne problems. I absolutely adore her nurses as well, jamie, pam and jasmine, they're the kindest, sweetest, most professional and best nurses you will ever come across! I wish you all nothing but the best! :)

Very costly . Paid $350 on first visit. And she prescribed me a cream that can’t be found locally . She said I have to buy it from another country . I asked for an alternative medicine which can be found locally as I won’t be flying overseas anytime soon. Instead she sarcastically asked me to talk to MP to request the cream to be sold in Singapore . Very shocked and appalled by it .

Dr Theresa Cheng is a very caring, experienced, decisive and meticulous doctor. She spotted early signs of my health problems and administered early and cost-effective treatments. Her accurate diagnosis and effective treatment give me great confident in entrusting my health care in her hand. I'm very grateful to her for taking good care of me all these years.

She might not be sugar coating her service to you but she is pro and well experienced thus my baby delivery in 2016 was a nothing but a smooth one. You are in good hands and assured of it.

I’ve recently had 1 healthy baby delivered by Dr Cheng. Every woman hopes for an uneventful and smooth pregnancy. Being a senior and highly experienced OBGYN as she is, Dr Cheng exceeded our expectations every step of the way and provided seamless personalized medical care throughout my pregnancy. Speaking from personal experience, I would definitely recommend Dr Cheng especially if you have prior gynae conditions/issues or are undergoing high risk pregnancy. Whilst some might consider her feedback to be relatively direct, I found it reassuring to have someone who genuinely cares for her patients to manage the entire pregnancy from preconception to postpartum with great prudence and expertise. If you work hand in hand with her, you will most likely achieve great outcomes. And to me, that is of the utmost importance. Her charges are reflective of her seniority & decades of experience and willingness to use the most appropriate/best medications for the patients. After having experienced two prior miscarriages myself under other practitioners’ care, I would say it’s hard to put a dollar value on a life. When it comes to pregnancies, I can hardly imagine having to shop around by trial/error and hoping to achieve a good outcome. Thank you Dr Cheng for going above and beyond to ensure a safe and healthy pregnancy for me. Like to express my gratitude towards the nurse (Pam) as well, who has helped care for me with great compassion throughout the whole process.
