the receptionist, Jing Ying and the nurses that assisted the doctor, Diana are really helpful and kind. The doctors especially Dr Mah is really kind and experienced. Will definitely comeback for cleaning again!

Had my first appointment with Luminous Dental at Tampines Plaza and I am very impressed with how professional the receptionist and Dr Kevin Lee are and will definitely return to them for my future dental appointments.

Would give 0 stars if i could. Worst prices, worst services and worst staff of any dental I’ve been to. After every single appointment, either my brackets would break or spring would snap, and I’d had to wait ages for me to get it fixed. Today really ticked me off because after having to wait close to 20mins for my name to get called when I’ve already made an appointment, my springs snapped right after. I had to make my way back to the clinic to fix THEIR mistake - just for them to tell me that I have to wait for a β€œwhile”. I’ve been waiting here for 40mins now and it’s really horrible service. There should be some kind of compensation or explanation which the staff failed to give after making me wait so damn long. If i had a choice right now I’d definitely without a doubt opt for another dental clinic. But I don’t have a choice fot that since I’ll be doing jaw surgery and I’ve already paid the ridiculous amounts of money for this countless horrible service. 10/10 would not recommend.

Currently doing my braces here, and so far the treatments have been superb. Highly recommend teenagers to do their braces here! All of the dentist are highly experienced and the staff are really kind ???

Waited 45 mins for my turn. Unfortunately I got a doctor that didn’t seem patience enough and did the scaling very fast & rough which is terrible as I requested a female doctor but didn’t expect expect this is her skill. The whole process for scaling & polishing took less than 20 mins which explained the doctor just wanted to quickly finish the job and move on to the next customer. Will not return anymore.

i want to thank Dr Lee as well as the counter staff, Mandy, Marie and FK for a memorable dental experience. Would definitely recommend my friends and family members to come upon luminous for braces as well as various dental treatments!! :)

My first visit to Luminous @ Tampines Plaza and I am definitely impressed and will definitely return to them for my future dental appointment. I would like to thank the staff at the counter (Marie, Gabriel, and another male staff - sorry didn’t manage to get your name). Many thanks to Marie for going the extra mile. And many thanks to Dr Mah, she is very knowledgeable, and patient to address my multiple concerns and worries. (On a side note, apologies if i spelt your names incorrectly)

I felt like I could've been potentially ripped off by the receptionists if I didn't stood up for myself. I came for a scaling and polishing appointment on Sunday, the 16th of January. I called their phone the day before and was told that with my Blue CHAS Card, I am entitled to a heavy subsidy and only have to pay the GST fee which is "less than $10". I came for the appointment, did a bunch of stuff to my teeth in the room with the friendly dentist and her moderately friendly assistant, then proceeded to pay. Upon payment, I was told that: 1) The dentist did additional polishing and scaling to my teeth. 2) I got a *specialist* dentist and not a regular dentist. All this apparently are additional costs, on top of that Blue CHAS Card subsidy, making the final total to be about $100++. It was not made known to me before sitting on that chair that I was assigned a specialist dentist. The dentist also did not mention that she will be doing additional cleansing to my teeth which will incur more costs. There is no way, me as a patient, would know all these information while I was lying back and my mouth ajar. Got me wondering if the TV playing Channel 5 above me was additional cost too, or the air-conditioning turned on for my room, maybe the amount of water I gargle too were unknown additional costs. After expressing my point of view and why what was done to me was not right, then I was shown more empathy and was only charged the amount as promised over the phone. However, I was told that the "balance" amount from the additional costs will not be absorbed by the clinic but will be charged in my next bill, when I do come to the same clinic again. Reiterating that I will still be charged eventually, for their mistake. I did not ask for additional cleansing, neither a specialist dentist. If these were made known to me prior to me seating down on that chair, I would have left the clinic. A more honest and transparent experience would be excellent. I did my braces here in 2017-2019 and my experience then was brilliant, far less disappointing. Everything then was communicated infinitely more clearly. The receptionists working now can learn a thing or two from the staff seating on that same chair back then. They have very large shoes to fill. Moving on, I suggest the receptionists or the dentists can ask these questions to patients prior to them unknowingly seating for a potentially more costly experience: "I will be doing additional cleaning on your molars because there are excessive plaque. You will be charged more. Is that okay for you?" "You will be given a specialist dentist today, as our regular dentist is unavailable. Since they have a more specialised experience in (whatever) field, you will be charged more. Is that okay for you? " Regarding the "balance" payment, not to worry about that. I will not be coming to Luminous Dental ever again. Have a nice life.
