My mum visited the Northpoint branch, bought a miu miu bag which they claim to be brand new, but the zip came off after less than a week’s use. Went back to enquire what they could do but was dismissed by one of the staff, Yumi. She was very untactful and unprofessional in handling the situation. Luckily I was later professionally served by Cherry. I suggest consumers to think twice before buying for maxi cash. I wanted to file and enquiry online but they have absolutely no way of being contacted online. Also, there’s no original/authentic guarantee card for the miu miu bag. Seems dodgy. Once and never visiting again.

Unprofessional and bad manner staff. Was there to pawn my 24k gold chain on 6 August 2018, at about 10.30am. She said what type of gold was this and offer me $800, while next door pawn shop Money Max offer me $880. I walk off without hesitation to next door. I hope the management can train the staffs better in the future. I doubt i will return next time.

Today we visited the northpoint outlet of maxi cash and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and approachable. We were very happy with our purchase too!

Refer by Bugis outlet to NP to look for more watches. Was attended by Melvin. He was very patient and explain very detail. Very patient in serving. Will definitely recommend Melvin to my friends if wanted to buy anything.

Visited on 26 Nov and carried out 2 transaction types, 1) Gold trade-in 2) Gold purchase. Service was not bad but noted one process for improvement. Receipts and declaration forms were printed and placed in front of my mum for her signature for these transactions. The shop staff clearly knew my mum was not English literate, but only told my mum that she will explain the contents to her AFTER the signing. She seemed in a hurry and kept pressing for her signature, even to the extent of preventing me from taking over the forms to read beforehand. The contents were briefly explained after the signing. I will think that the contents of all legal binding documents should be properly explained BEFORE signing, to ensure customers understand how they are bound for such documents. One more point, the shop was not busy during the off-peak period then, do not understand the need for such rush, will not go back to this outlet again for future transactions.
