★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a Mee siam fan but So far the best Mee siam and satay bee hoon tried. Was skeptical at first but it did not disappoint. The Mee siam was sour enough, satay bee hoon sauce just hit the right spot. The sauce was more toward curry flavor, with a bit of nutty taste and slightly peppery. Didn't expect myself to even finish the satay bee hoon sauce. Queue was very long with every one taking away 2 or 3 packets. Wouldn't mind queueing if the queue is shorter next time.
Lady owner is nice too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the smallest size Satay Bee Hoon at $4, should have got larger size for an adult. Taste very good with the satay sauce more of a curry type but yet have the sweet satay sauce taste! Surprised with the quality of the liver and pork which was top quality and very fresh! Top it off the owner is very friendly with a great smile :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mee Siam is a comfort food for me. At Lao Chow Zhou, Ghim Moh Market, the elderly couple recreated this simple but delicious plate of my comfort food. Typically, a plate would include an egg, some fried bean curds and the sauce, a dash of lime may be included. For LCZ, it had the added ingredient of dried shrimps or the dried Japanese Koebi (小虾) sprinkled on top of it. I simply adores the extra ingredient. These dried koebi added a dimension of taste into the already fragrant and flavorful plate of Mee Siam. The crispiness and the slightly salted zest of the dried koebi gives a new updated spin to the Mee Siam. Some people may prefer the traditional version, but, for me I love this new version.
Try one if you have the time, as waiting for a single plate may take more than 30 minues. It is certainly worth my time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My top 2 Satay Beehoon. Tender and soft liver, flavorful sauce with stronger curry taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3 stars for price. Too heavy peanut sauce, my preference. I like sour and light mee siam. Long queue means popular. Can try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was attracted to it by the crowd, and that it’s hard to get a good mee siam - but ended up going for satay bee hoon since the majority of the queue went for that ?
⏰ The lead time for each customer was a long 4 minutes, and with 8 customers in the queue, I was only served after more than 30 minutes..
? That said, it was a decent plate of satay beehoon, spiciness was on point and had a generous serving of ingredients to go with

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long queue, but cleared away quite quickly. 4.5 SGD for small portion of satay bee hon, very filling for girls. And the flavor very rich, cockles are fresh~

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't understand how this stall only has 20 reviews at the time of writing this. Their Mee Siam is probably one of the better ones that I can find in Singapore. Uncle and auntie are so friendly, especially when they see me snapping photos and videos of their stall, and we actually struck a brief conversation about her son.
If people mention "Ghim Moh mee siam", they probably refer to this stall. To me, it's definitely worth the travel for the takeaway, even if you're on the other side of the island.
Be mindful of the long queues, especially during lunch times on weekends.
