β β β β β Springy noodles + flavourful broth! Love the modern twist on the usual bar chor mee with scallops and prawn paste, their handmade fish dumpling was the best. Went during off-peak hours so the queue moved fast as expected. ?

β β β β β Ordered the $4 to see what's the difference between the $3 version.
Felt very ripped off as there's no difference at all.
The sauce is not too bad, but otherwise a less than generous portion. You are better off with your lunch money elsewhere.
Visited on April and June 2022.

β β β β β My initial reaction was probably how good could it beβ¦? Iβm sure by now everyone already have their fav BCM store. I decided to give it a try after passing by this nicely lit store a couple of times. They have 4 items on their menu and I decided to go with their Signature noodles with soup. The highlight of the dish was definitely the soup more than the noodles, the soup was thick, creamy and RICH. The noodles just a little hard for my liking but itβs all personal preference.
Will be back to eat again ?
Edit: Came back and tried their seafood version⦠definitely preferred their first one. I think their soup is the real highlight or the dish

β β β β β Ikura Bak Chor Mee? Yes, this bowl of Seafood Minced Pork Noodles ($6.00) is served with prawn, scallop, herh keow, sliced pork and minced meat, topped with ikura! I wish they could be more generous with the noodles.

β β β β β Seafood Minced Pork Noodle or Seafood BCM is something new to me. It come with hei giao, prawn paste ball, scallops and ikura on top of your usual sliced and minced meat. I love that Ikura added to the Seafood BCM, it elevate the umami with each bite. Oh yes that crispy piece of pork lard which @gy_meh donβt eat ?
Signature Mee Pok w/ Superior Soup have its mee pok dry infused in pork lard(i assumed) and a bowl of soup with full of ingredients, prawn paste ball, meat ball, scallops, sliced and minced meat. Enjoyed that sweetness in the soup as well.
I would say, if you are bored of your bak chor mee, come here. It will give you a little twist of your usual ones.

β β β β β From some reviews, we paid a visit to Minced Pork Bros in Old Airport Food Centre.
Placed order for two bowls of Meepok Dry with normal Chilli and Vinegar. There were only two customers ahead of me who each order 2 servings.
After collecting my payment, the lady server was meddling with her items and didnβt even start to cook for the front two customers. She was like preparing to pack upβ¦.that was just 2pm. She took almost 10 minutes to pack the wanton skins into a small box and was looking for space in the refrigerators. I tried to help her move the box blocking the refrigerator, no word of thanks.
Could see the frustration from the body languages of the front customers. When the order was ready for front customer, found out server made mistake by dishing out the noodle with Chilli when customer didnβt want Chilli. Instead of serving me that wrong order, she pushed the two servings aside and started preparing fresh bowls.
When my turn came, she simply pushed out the two rejected bowls to me!!! They were all cold!!! I was speechless!
While waiting, I had observed that all her ingredients were cooked before hand and placed in separate bowls. She only cooked the Meepok and counted the number of cold cooked ingredients into the bowl. I was prepared to be disappointed.
True enough, when wifey and I tasted the meal, it was really poor standard. Meepok stuck together. There was so little ingredients. We had wasted our stomach spaces with those sub standard food. So $4 per bowl of this Meepok might seem cheap (from their photograph), but it was really not worth it.
We were so disappointed that we had to buy an Iced Chendol with kacang from nearby Nonya Chendol to cool ourselves down.

β β β β β Ordered their Classic version with extra noodles ($3 + $1).
Love the flavours and ingredients. At some stalls, when you add noodles, the sauce is usually lacking for the extra noodles but not this. Ingredients might be little but itβs only $3.
Would have preferred the noodles to have a little more bite but it is definitely not soggy by all means.
From what I see at their stall, they used fresh ingredients and put a lot of effort into every component of the dish.
*PS maybe put a dry cloth to soak up the water of the wet chopsticks/spoon. It was a little turnoff.

β β β β β Innovative fusion bak chor mee at wallet-friendly prices ?β¨
Having tried more than 200 variations of bak chor mee, here are some of the finalised renditions that the young hawkers behind Minced Pork Bros came up with!
? ?????? ??????? ??????? ??????? ($?)
Unlike most other BCM, this upgraded version puts a twist on our familiar flavour. The teochew-inspired version includes abalone, scallop, pork slices, ajitama egg and pork lard.
? ??????? ????? ???? ??????? ($?)
Enjoy a burst of flavour with each bite! Topped with ikura, the stunning bowl of noodle definitely stands out from the crowd. We had this with her giao (fish dumplings) and scallop too. Definitely IG-worthy!
? ??? ???? ??????? ???????? ???? ($?)
Gotta say that I'm quite impressed by this! The bowl of soup came brimming with ingredients (including generous portion of minced meat, her giao, cabbage, pork lard and bianyu). The fish dumplings are much bigger than the ones you get elsewhere, with peppery and generous fillings.
Despite being a relatively young hawker, they have already won Singapore's Best Food 2022 (Top Rated). Quite an accomplishment ?
If you prefer to stick to the classics, the hawker spot also offers traditional bak chor mee ($3).
Adding this to my list of places to visit at Old Airport Road!β¨
