Ming, one of the senior hairstylist, has been my hairdresser for the last 20yrs. He is very experienced, has great technique, esp using a blade to layer the hair, creating a softer feel and look as opposed to just using a scissors. He is friendly, knowledgeable. I always do their Hanna hair treatment too, to naturally dye my white hairs red and put nutrients back into my hair. Highly recommended!!

Have been going to Agnes for haircut for 14 years now and that speaks volume of how much I love the service at mode. The place feels like home and all the hair stylists are not only good at what they do, but also so friendly. This hair salon is a real treasure. Highly recommended.

I had my hair cut by Meng today. He is friendly and approachable. This is crucial as being able to communicate what you want with your hair is not easy if the other person is not willing to listen. He is meticulous and pays close attention to detail. He understands hair well and you will be in good hands. I'm glad I found this place. I will be bringing my kids here for their haircuts too. Their student rates are better than those $10 shops. I wished I had known about this hidden gem sooner.

Had gotten my hair bleached today and I was supposed to only do bleaching of my hair but when they were done bleaching, they asked if I wanted toner as the tones on my hair was very uneven however after application and washing, I was left with purple hair and they commented that it look great but it wandt what I asked for. The lady at the shop clearly wasn't too sure how to do the hairstyle I wanted but continued to do the job instead of questioning or checking with other colleagues. After that, I asked the man what colour would my hair turn into which he said violet, this is clearly not what I asked for but their way of 'solving the issue' as they realised they screwed up. I paid the full price no doubt but I was disappointed as I came in from a frens reccomendation to get such disappointing results and by the way the tone if the hair is still uneven.
