Excellent DIY staffs very friendly and helpful especially a male Cashier and Supervisor Lee in helping to find car items Supervisor Lee goes the extra mile to direct his staff Alex to get fix my car wiper. That’s awesome customer service for sharing here.

Mr DIY carries products that had an overlap with their next door neighbour - Daiso. However, DIY carries many other hardware products which are not found at Daiso. The staff whose restocking shelves are usually helpful in directing customers to the right lane to find their required products. And what I like about Mr DIY is that they have barcode readers that could let us know how much their products cost. However, the cashier counter seemed to be somewhat slow moving and it can be very annoying if the queue doesn’t seemed to moving at all. Update 29 November 2021: bought this USB fan as an air ventilator for our parrot’s cage when she is sleeping at night. Pretty windy with just one type of wind mode & silent when in use. However, the store seems to be understaffed but the supervisor who was on duty was very helpful in assisting me as the product was found right at the top shelves where all their USB fans are displayed. Still a good place with a comprehensive variety of household products and Knick-knacks useful for us all!

bought 14 jars but the lady charged me for 16 :( she even asked me beforehand if u bought 14 or 16 jars. even after saying i bought 14 she charged me wrongly. $1.60 wasted but ok ig…

DIY all you can! Huge place to shop for everything DIY. They have a handy price checker for items which price is not indicated. The shop has something for all ages.

Wanted to get something as was rushing for time. But a male Staff approached me to put aside my bubble tea drink in a corner basket when I wasn’t even drinking it & was with my mask the whole time upon stepping in the shop. He had to tell me off very loudly in front of other customers. Told me was company policy. However didn’t stop other fews customers who brought in their food & drinks to put at the corner basket upon entering. Unsure if a bias situation. Maybe because I’m malay. Firstly hygiene purposes, if i were to put aside my drink (that i wasn't even drinking and packed) i may not know “unwanted things” might go in the drink when its unattended. If i were to do so, and something happen to me, will the staff or the company be responsible for my health? Secondly i just wanted to purchase something really quickly & with this sad experience, staff should focus on providing good customer service instead of handpicking customers that came in (with food & drinks that is packed n carried) just to put at the corner basket. Thirdly, If its company policy with no food & drinks (when customers is not even eating or drinking), suggest should roster a staff at entrance to screen thru for all customers who purchases food or drinks to put aside before entering. Ridiculously as this may sound, since their focus on that. If staff is just doing their job, suggest that it should be fair that they as well put their water bottles too at the corner basket provided. Felt that the issue is, IF i am not wearing mask and drinking in & throughout walking in the shop and were be told off like that, i could have understand and comply.
