★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love both the roast and steam chicken. Prawn roll is also nice. We had both Qing-long vege and baby kailan, well fried. We had to ask for serving of chicken broth, and that’s also a must to go with the rice. All in all it’s a great place to have simple and decent family meal that’s AIR CONDITIONED! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven been patronising this restaurant as a kid since 7-8 years old. This chicken rice restaurant still bring back plenty of memories. White Poached Chicken is still good! Tender as always. It is even better than some of the big players in the industry. Will definitely return for more! Thank you for keeping the old brand going!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional chicken rice restaurant, been around for 4-5 decades at same location. Run by Hainanese. Standard has remained same through these years ? Price is reasonable. Chicken is very tender as usual. The loofah melon & Hainanese chap chye are delicious. No msg in their food. I drank their free chicken soup to the last drop !

Kids love it very much and definitely will be back regularly.
Parking is a challenge and nightmare especially during peak hours and weekend.
We parked at nearby public carpark and just with short walking distance.

The interior decor had old school vibes, and is really comfy with either booth seats or round tables.
Food was awesome, we had the white chicken and it was cooked to perfection, moist meats. The free and refillable soup was also very savoury.
Will definitely be back to try the Tze Cha dishes along w Roasted Chicken!

Managed to get a 4 seater table.(full house as usual during dinner time) Ordering was fast and noticed the uncle staff had used a I pad to register the dishes. He used to scribble on a piece of paper many years ago. How times fly. Food were promptly served and were delicious. The final bill was also reasonable as the dishes were freshly cooked. Will definitely come back again for our family dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven’t had chicken rice for quite some time, first time here, we ordered 2 items only, Hainanese steamed chicken (half portion) and Winter melon stir fry with seafood (Loofah) and unbelievably good. Ice water is 50 cents in case you are wondering. Will definitely come back to eat here if I’m around this area, eatery is close and walking distance to the new Upper Thomson station on the Thomson East Coast line (TEL)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good old school chicken rice with tze char. I especially love the hainanese pork chop. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food was tasty and affordable. The restaurant was also fully packed by dinner time.
