Tried the glutinous rice chicken today. If you're a fan of the sweeter kind of lor mai kai, then this is good. I prefer the savoury ones.

Pretty depressing. Not up to standards at all. Auntie there is super irritable. The neighborhood deserves better, please close this place down and open up something nicer. Pretty please with sugar on top.

My fav pau... Both skin and meat taste good. Pipping hot. Its handmade, right in front of me. Cafe deco Is nostalgic, those old school feel. Noodle is 'q', soup not too salty, free refill. The glutenous rice ricken, the rice is chewy yet easy on stomach, won't cause indigestion to me, generous portion of chicken.

Char siew pau is well filled and dough is soft. They used to make it on the spot but have since moved to central kitchen. Family likes the taosar pau too. Reason why I did not rate them higher is the male at the cashier. He was not friendly and rude. Wanted to charge for boxes when I bought 20 pieces. Kept arguing that o asked for bags (ie portions). Time the company consider using alternatives to plastic bags as it is single use and environmentally unfriendly.

Must try the Yip Chee Mei Giant Pau, huge pau enough for 2 small eater. CharSiew pau have a Malaysians flavour...

There's only six items on the menu but everything is freshly made right in front of you and tastes delicious! A local favorite worth visiting

No doubt the paus are hot and fresh but the popiah was absolutely disgusting. I found pieces of vegetables that have gone brown / blackish and the tail ends of the lettuce all thrown inside. The popiah skin was hard and thick and the polish vegetables were dry and stale . There was this immense raw taste to the whole popiah and it was just lacking in freshness . I hate to waste food but I had to throw the popiah away because it was really distasteful . And at 2.50 , it was such a waste . I was expecting a premium quality popiah with that kind of price you would pay . The poor auntie whom takes the pau orders also has to make Popiah so you see her disappearing for long periods while patrons queue for 10 mins just to get a pau order . I saw many just walk away because it was lunch time and they had no time. Also - be careful to check the paus that are served to you . Some have dirt marks on them or soggy bottoms or torn skin . They have a habit of serving those first - I realised from my couple of experiences there . So please checks your paus before you leave the pau counter . Don’t be surprised to be shown a black face if you ask for you pau to be changed . After a long queue for the pau, then you join a long queue for the drinks and absolutely many people standing behind the drinks and noodles counter but all confused and slow in service . This just speaks badly of the management of this joint . Used to be one of my favourite joints but not now .

I was very badly taken aback at how your staff at Nam Kee Pau outlet Valley Point Shopping Centre treated my sister as a customer during her visit to the outlet the morning of 29 Jan 2022. She asked if there was Chee Cheong fun or yam cake but the person told her off and said does it look like he have both? Then she asked for 2 char Siew pau and he packed the pau and threw it on the table. And worse, he used his hand to rudely wave my sister off telling her to quickly pay and get out of his sight. This is truly appalling. What kind of service staff do you have at Nam Kee Valley Point? Pls avoid this outlet at all cost!!!
