The best meepok bakchor this side of town. Uncle has been cooking since 1964! Great springy noodles and lots of mince meat. Be prepared to wait up to 45 mins!!! Ordered MeeKia today.

I ordered Mee Pok $5, less chili, ketchup and vinegar version and it’s good! The wanton is good with square fish in it. However, the skin of the wanton is too thick. Can be Long queue.

My go to BCM place for a old school traditional taste! Those fresh and succulent prawns and dried cuttlefish tops the bcm off!

So-so Bak Chor Mee with medium 3 size prawns for its premium. It's accompanying soup is artificially sweet.

Not bad Soup is a bit too sweet Dumpling is delicious, although the skin is a bit thick and doughy. It has a strong smell of the dried fish... u know what i am talking about The mee pok is al dente Quite oily. Remember to scoop it out. serving is big for $4 queue is long at times and slow always. Takes about 4 mins for one bowl. Multiple helpers but not coordinated. surely fail if playing nintendo switch game “Overcook”

Managed to try out this BCM after Teo Kevin sent me those mouth watering photos. There was quite a queue at this old school Kopitiam. I was told that I need to order either medium or large, so I ordered medium for My friends, I had the large one of course. The chilli was nothing to shout about but the overall seasoning and taste was pretty good. The ingredients were fresh and the main highlight was the prawns, it was Wow! So this is not really the best BCM but it’s a really very good one. Make sure you check it out when you are there.

Went on a Sunday, queue was not exactly very long - about 4 people ahead of me. It took about 20 mins to get to my turn. Noodle (mee pok) texture was just nice, but gravy was very sweet and oily. Generous amount of meat and mushroom, although all very sweet. Soup was also too sweet. So everything just tasted sweet instead of savoury. Also ordered dumplings which was their only saving grace. They used dried fish to make the meat filling extra flavourful. In my opinion, the noodles are not worth the queue. Could get yourself the Hainanese Curry rice just next to it, in the same amount of time even if that queue looks very long and daunting. At least the staff were more organized and moved much faster. Not hygienic as there were many birds walking around your legs trying to get to scraps of food. Paid parking available nearby.
