The building is a landmark so it was easy fir us to find. The location is good too. Very clean and tidy place. They have great selection of books and in different languages too. My teenager boy studied French at school and he is a bookworm so he enjoyed finding books in different language. We also noticed the step underneath the drop back slot. How good they encourage kids to go to the library, choose their own books, read and return books an time of the day. This is Singapore. I have visited Singapore a number of occasions for work and each time I go am more and more fascinated.

The mapping the world exhibition is open now. The set-up and content are good, covering worldwide maps in different forms and periods. However the it's rather dry exhibition, only one video and then the interactive area isn't working properly. Not recommend for traveling all the way just for this

Great place to read, concentrate. It is a sanctuary for those who love reading. Minor drawback: The collection of books is better at smaller libraries as this library is very popular and the in-demand books move off the shelf faster.

Another library that I frequent at least once a week is the National Library Building where the Central Public is in B1. I will especially not miss the Book Exchange Corner where you can possibly pick up good titles for free. Although it’s a book exchange corner, I have honestly taken more books than I have given unfortunately.

Mapping The World is now on at National Library Gallery, 10th floor. A carefully curated exhibition. Rare maps from other countries are display the first time in Singapore. Worth a visit!

This is the largest library in Singapore. This building has a very nice and unique architecture. The library occupies many levels in the building and offers plenty of comfortable seats and table spaces. There are just so many books here too!

We love this library and often travel all the way here from the west, for their children's events/workshops. Our most recent visit, was to this new exhibition at Level 11. It's more interactive than I expected. I had fun! ?
