Hallasan volcano hot plate rice serving is tiny and the spicy pork is underwhelming. Also ordered garlic pizza and rose tteopokki. Serving takes time. Normally there is a queue. Best if come earlier and last order around 8.45-9. Level 1 of JEM. Use QR code to order.

Had the beef jjampong spicy level 1 and seafood jjampong spicy level 2. Delicious, wondering how the soup has got wok hey taste, and plenty of ingredients, seafood and beef alike. Outstanding and hardworking staffs.

Soup was superb! The best jjampong I have eaten. It is robust and not watery. Level 1 spiciness was a bit too spicy for me and i had to drink a few cups of water. The seafood ingredients were too little for the price paid. Pricey but the tastiness of the soup made up for it.

The service is slow, but food is okay. The queue moves so slow, and empty tables can be seen. The noodles are good, rice is just normal hotplate kind…

After witnessing the long queues during meal times and hearing the rave from my friends, we decided to drop by for lunch since we are in the area. First off, the floor were sticky, which were a little disgusting since it implies it wasn’t properly cleaned - and that’s right at the cashier/entrance area. To top things off, the surface of the table in which we were seated were sticky too.. I can’t comprehend why this was the case, the lack of effort to ensure high touch points surfaces aren’t properly cleaned is one I absolutely condemn during this pandemic. Moving on to the food, ? the fusion pizza that we got (garlic version), was flavourful and nice smelling. But, it was really boring as there’s literally 0 texture to things, I was chewing off dough and flavours for a good half of the pizza before I gave up. ? the fusion mala pong was really numbing, very heavy on the palette but was generous in serving. Not a good first experience on any fronts, doubt we will revisit anytime soon.

I have seen this restaurant around for awhile now and finally decided to give it a try. It surprises me alot! I had the seafood risotto while my husband had beef cha pong. Both seems to be using the same base and its shiok! Seriously spicy for level 2 pong but the lychee yogurt drink helped soothe my tongue inbetween each mouthful of chewy noodles glistening with the rich broth. Will definitely go for it again! :)

Never tried Jjamppong in Korea, so can’t comment on the authenticity. Interesting flavors and springy noodles. Level 1 spice is just nice for me, level 2 is too spicy. Took 2 stars off: too little ingredients for the price. No complementary tap water also. Pizza wasn’t available when I visited.

The food was honestly average (3 stars) and the service from the waitress was bad, its like she is just there to work and does not care at all (2 stars). Each dish was near $20 which is slightly pricey given the flavour and quality of the food. I was going to give them either 2 or 3 stars but their manager PR skills save them. Basically we ordered no squid they gave us squid. We informed the manager about it and she waived the fee of the dish. So 5 stars for the service of the manager.
