Woorinara Korean Restaurant - 19 Lor Kilat

Totally underrated place compared to many Korean restaurants out there. Tucked in a corner along lorong kilat. Went on a few occasions and was surprised that everytime is packed (Went on Wed 2pm and Monday 7pm) They have a basement which is rather unique and cosy. I have to say their Korean Fried Chicken is really good! Tried their Yum Yum chicken and Spicy Soy flavour and indeed both didn't disappoint! Their Kimchi jiggae is very delectable. Not too sourish and uses fresh kimchi. The only complain is too little hehe... Side dishes are delicious as well. I love their green veggie which explains why they are first to be out of stock. Kimchi, egg and tofu is good too! Service wise they are really fast. The service staff are quite young but professional. They are courteous and fast. Despite the crowd they do not get their orders mix up and have good memory to remember the requests. Well done team! Not forgetting their friendly korean lady boss (I think she is the lady boss?) Super pleasant experience! ?

This is another authentic Korean restaurant. I loved the dishes that served, like ramen, fried pork belly.

Cozy place, with korean music videos played on a projector screen. As for food, do koreans like sweet food? Or is it just my imagination? Bulgolgi (7/10) Served steaming in an earthen pot, over a hotplate. Was pleasantly surprised that the bulgolgi was still warm after >15mins. Thinly sliced and tender beef, with onions, carrots, enoki, and glass noodles, served in a sweet sauce. Chicken sampler platter (7/10) Fried chicken sampler, and some rice would be able to comfortably feed 2 pax. Sampler platter comes with 3pcs of each flavour - classic, yum and garlic soy. Their fried chicken chunks are boneless, and juicy, wrapped in a crispy batter. Chicken is tender, and well marinated. ? Classic: served with a side of sweet, plum sauce ? Yum: imagine your typical sweet, and sour sauce, with a slight dash of heat ? Garlic soy: sweet, salty, and only very slightly garlicky Side dishes (6/10) Cold and refreshing appetisers. My favourite was the seasoned, green veggies. The rest were rather average - ketchup sausage slices, eggroll, salad, beancurd, kimchi...

Food is 진짜 맛있다 !! All time favourite Korean place over the years. Lady boss is very nice and friendly. Will always return, even though we have moved away ?????

Fried chicken is very tender, both Soy garlic and cheese are very well marinated. We enjoyed even the banchan and asked for seconds. The army stew is delicious, spicy but with layers of flavor. Overall a great experience, would be coming back again definitely

Service was prompt! Ordered stir-fried rice cake w seafood hotpot $28(s). Portion is just nice for 2pax. Soup taste more on the sweeter side. Not much meat in the crab but very generous with the mussels.

A small space located along the stretches of cafes and dessert place. Army stew: broth is really thick & something that I don’t think I would be able to replicate the taste. Ginseng chicken soup: succulent & soft, not seasoned with salt. Salt condiment is provided.

A cozy place to have Korean food. This is my second time here as it is quite far to travel from the eastern part of Singapore. The Korean ambience here to me is a plus. While the food here is not the kind that will blow you away, they are decent. It’s a place to eat and drink and chill.
