Fresh sashimi and lovely colours to match. Wasabi is fresh and authentic with the right oomph! Service is prompt and attentive with clean and private ambience!

Restaurant was bright and clean with some outdoor seatings. Food was of high quality but overpriced due to the small portions. Draft beer (Asahi) was available at $9-10 a pint or $6-6.50 per half pint during Happy Hour (till 5-7pm). Service was OK.

Visited the restaurant with my partner's family on a weekday evening. The place wasn't full but there were quite a few tables occupied. The service was a tad slow, could be the large orders the other table had placed. I gotten the Barachirashi Don and tried a bit of the Chawanmushi. The food came in a wooden lacquered bowl, however I have never been a fan of using them to serve overly wet or strong smelling food as they are susceptible to bacteria if not washed and maintained properly. The restaurant just newly opened so the bowls looked new and were sealed, but it made me wonder if they would do the necessary work needed to upkeep the wooden bowls. I only noticed the bottom of my cup was slightly tainted with a murky stain. Not sure if it was the green tea, but I have had hot green tea from other places before and the cups did not present itself with such a strange looking sediments. Jumping into the taste of the food, the red vinegar rice was delicious and helped to elevate the whole bowl. However, I did feel like the assortment of fish weren't as fresh I liked it to be as there was a fishy aftertaste. The portion was also a tad small. I wouldn't say I'm a big eater, but I still felt hungry even after eating the don and a few pieces of tuna maki. The chawanmushi was good, but nothing too standout. Overall, I would suggest the use of porcelain bowls instead. A tad overprice for the portion size and quality.

came here to celebrate mother’s day and we spent a total of $127 for 4 people. sashimi platter ($22) was okay, nothing to shout about. slices were pretty thick tho. ebi tempura - tasted ok. q generous w the ebi but nothing fantastic. fried stingray was rly yummy but $13 for that ?‍??‍? not worth… it was good tho. tastes like the dried cuttlefish snacks LOL wagyu beef bowl - $26… would have preferred if it was more fatty and tender. imo waacow still wins if i’m craving a good bowl of wagyu beef bowl sakura ebi claypot - ??? i don’t get why it was served in a claypot bc there was no scorched bits of rice. while it was rly fragrant imo it’s not worth the money. hot green tea was tasteless ($2)

Japanese restaurant with a slightly more modern feel with a casual atmosphere. Ordered 3 mains and 2 sides ( Buta kakuni don, hokkaido pork katsu don, zaru soba & sashimi set, truffle potato balls and some fried beetroot chips with salmon tar tare) All 3 mains we ordered were the same price, but I personally felt that the soba and sashimi bento was the most value for money. The buta kakuni don was pretty good too as the pork was very tender and flavourful. The pork katsu was pretty normal to me though. Shoutout to the staff who provided great service too. Overall, it is a pretty cosy japanese restaurant you can chill and hangout at.

Food options are fantastic. Taste is great. Staff are friendly and nice. Their Don is really amazing and the salad is great as well. The price is on the higher range but definitely worth the quality although I find the portion could be slightly bigger.

A very pleasant dining experience inside a nicely furnished place. We were here for a late lunch, and it was quite quiet, great for a conversation over a delicious meal. You may order from the physical menu, or you can order and make payment through a dedicated webpage that you can scan from a QR code on the table. The food was great, but the price is a bit on the higher side.

Friendly and helpful staff. Gave us advice as we ordered food as first time visitors. Helped us not to over order. The starter item (grilled sting ray) is tops for me. Got to try several of their rice dishes and everything was good.
