Frankly, I think their best dishes are not the seafood pastas that the usual bloggers and magazines talk about (too fishy even for me). Go for the pesto with fusilli, or the carbonara that is the authentic cream-less type. Few restaurants offer you bucatini, pecorino and guanciale, and most certainly not at $8.

A good thing I came at 2 pm when there was no long snaking queues - this is what happens when the usual food blogs do a rave on the stalls. Pardon the untidy picture - I was munching through it already. For 6.50, my beef bolognese certainly is value for money. The pasta is al dente, the sauce creamy in tomatoes. The highlight is the beef balls which had a most delectable flavour when I bit into it. Very yummy! Definitely I will be back to try the lobster bisque!

Ordered the Beef Bolognese (S$6.50). Affordable price for this quality. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta with two handmade meatballs in creamy tomato sauce topped with some cheese. For the choice of pasta, I chose fusilli. Simple and delicious, especially the meatball ? Went there during lunch time on Sunday. They'll hand you a buzzer upon ordering. Short waiting time, and ready in less than 10mins. I'll be back to try their other pasta flavours. Recommended?

Shame! Went there at 6pm and there wasn’t a queue! Lucky for me I didn’t have to wait long. Noodles were al dante and full of seafood flavour. I chose the Lobster Bisque! Seafood were very fresh and at very affordable pricing at $8. I will be back soon ❤️

The food was great and the lobster bisque is yummy with great seafood flavour, but On my saturday morning visit at 1115am, had to wait for an hour to get my food. Lots of people coming and queueing and giving up, thus marking the review down. Have to improve on the wait times if not will find it hard to recommend. If I ever want to visit I will come early and camp it out instead of waiting for it to open. If you dare brave the wait I think you will be rewarded with some nice value for money food!

Pretty damn good for hawker pasta! Not sure why reviews are so bad but the sauce (perhaps helped by the flavoring oil) really does have the lobster bisque soup taste. Prawns were exceptionally large and fresh which was a pleasant for me. Clams and mussels were decent. Linguine was done just right, al dente.

Super commendable effort by the chef who was a one man show. Queues were snaking in the market during lunchtime on Sunday, and the entire wait was about 45-50 minutes. Pastas were cooked Al dente but probably were drenched in the same prawn broth as both the lobster bisque and squid ink pastas had the same base taste. I wouldn’t say it’s worth the queue or the hype, but if you’re looking for a bowl of decent pasta and happen to be in the area, do definitely check them out. I thought the marketing could be better to make sure that people with allergies knew what they were in for.

You get reviews and you get long queues for new stalls. I wanted to try this and I waited for more than an hour to try the pasta. The ordering system wasn't so smooth and I really have to pity the young hawker doing a one man show inside the stall. He has to manage everything head to tail alone despite the long queue. I visited because I wanted to try the lobster bisque pasta. I ordered it and I have to say the portion was quite okay for the amount. What I didn't really enjoy was I hoped the linguine could be cooked a little longer and the pasta could be a bit wetter. There was only a tinge of lobster, not sure if it was the lobster oil instead. The linguine tasted quite plain there wasn't much sauce for it to absorb. It was quite dry and I felt it affected the entire dish. Hope it was just a once off and would like to visit again and hope for better pasta.
