★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deep fried pork ribs is an interesting twist from the usual soupy bak kut teh. Lightly battered , lightly seasoned and covered with fried garlic bits. It’s actually quite nice except that it’s a tad too dry. The deep fried garlic bulbs really go well with this. The soup itself is the usual teochew style BKT. As good as any and not over peppery.
