โ โ โ โ โ OneCare clinic Tiong Bahru had been my family clinic for years but today will be my last visit. Terrible experience.
I went on 19 Oct evening for mild cough. The male doctor used his stethoscope on my back for few seconds and told me that I needed to do ART and PCR tests. Period.
He didnโt even ask the very basic questions like - do you have phlegm? When do you cough, day or night? He just asked if I had sore throat but didnโt even bother to check.
I then needed to tell him that I usually cough by year end and told him my medical history. I then further needed to prescribe the medicines myself and he just typed on his computer, without any medical comment and questions.
Itโs fine that as per SG regulation, patients need to do COVID tests when they cough. However this regulation does not imply that COVID is the only cause of cough, ART and PCR tests are the solutions. Where is the common sense and medical knowledge of a doctor when he sees a patient with cough? Is this clinic now a COVID test Center, and get their job done by performing ART and PCR tests only?
I am certainly not pleased for being a patient I have to prescribe my own medicines. When I asked for more running nose pills his answer was a quantity of 20 is the max the clinic can give, you can take it or leave it.
I have seen a number of doctors at this clinic these years, this male doctor just wanted to follow the rules, get his job done quickly and get rid of you. He appears as a worker, not a medical professional.

โ โ โ โ โ Good place. One Friendly doctor and receptionists..
Breakdown of ratings:
Service - one star, there are two receptionists. One was exceptional friendly and very helpful and does her job well. I remembered one time I had high fever and was abit delirious, they guided me through the registration process with patience.
Location - one star. Near mrt
Doctor skill - back to one star,
(Revised from half star)
The lady doctor was very detailed during her examination of my mother in law. My mil had covid19. The handling of the situation was professional. (Since so many people had already been infected). The PCR test was administered by another person. It was painful for her but this may be standard of pcr. We had to wait outside for the medication. My mil took her medication and is now resting.
Cost - full star. reasonable prices.
Ambience - half star. The deco is functional but sterile.

โ โ โ โ โ Called their tiong bahru hotline for 3 times. At Saturday 11am which is their opening hours. No one pick up. This is really bad when there is a hotline and I am calling about something important when no one can pick up the call.

โ โ โ โ โ Receptionist were not the nicest people, had me waiting an hour for one PCR swab even when there were not many people in the clinic. Didn't even care to inform me of the waiting time prior. Person in-charge of doing PCR swabbing was also rough with her methods. I've done PCR before and it does not feel this painful. When i told her it hurts, she blamed me for "squeezing my face" so "she got stuck". Even ART was a bad experience. An ART test isnt even painful and if i felt so much pressure at the surface of my nose, imagine how it felt when I did my PCR. lol. Wasn't gentle even when she asked to angle my head. Didn't catch her name but patient care is seriously bad. However, cheers to Dr Aanchal Kadam. She was so patient and kind. Took the time to listen and understand. She was not quick to diagnose me and I really respect doctors like these. Thank you!

โ โ โ โ โ I seldom writes a bad review or feedback. Becos i m a nurse myself i know sometimes it is so stressful in a healthcare industries. But this time it is so ridiculous & unpleasant experience. I brought my unwell toddler to consult a doctor on 27/04/22 night. Enter the clinic the staff at the counter never even ask my toddler been there before. Is ok i understand. This particular staff is so unprofessional this is how i feels. I told her my toddler been here before & me also been there so many times to consult a doctor. Also don't need to bring along original ic or birth cert. This time this 2 staffs one is male staff. Both looks not knowledgeable to me. First i reply so each visit must bring original documents even came before she says yes. Fine. After seeing doctor dispensing medication i checked with them the expiry date for the medication they reply me 2 weeks. Omg this time really will be my last visit to this clinic. Totally unacceptable. If you wanna work in a healthcare you must be patience & knowledgable most importantly must be professional. Lastly there is one Malay staff which i brought my toddler tat time to see doctor. This staff i must really gives her a thumb up ? not likes this 2 staffs i met tonight. She is very patience, friendly, knowledgeable, professional towards patients.

โ โ โ โ โ Excellent doctors who take their time to explain procedures, differences between govt healthcare policies and company policies. They are facing a high workload with Covid 19 at the moment so longer wait times are expected but all in all well organized, professional, and caring individuals. I would reccomend them

โ โ โ โ โ Excellent experience with the Doctor Locum. He was really friendly and emphathetic, even thanking me for sharing information on my past procedures saying it would be helpful in helping him write the referral letter for me. Had no waiting time to see the doctor and waited only a short while to get my medicine. Was hesitant to visit a OneCare clinic as Iโve not had good experiences at them (Bukit Gombak branch) but went anyway for their late opening hours. Iโm glad to say I had a pleasant experience and will definitely return if the chance arises.

โ โ โ โ โ As a clinic, I thought basic systematic organisation of patients' results is the minimum to ensure patients are well taken care of. The doctor is very careful when doing blood test and discussing the result. However, the experience at the reception is below average. I will not recommend anyone this clinic. Read more on my experience.
I tried to call at various timings, wanting to check if they are still doing AIA Vitality Basic Health Screening but the outcome is the same, no one pick up the calls. As it is the nearest one to my house, I decided to try my luck and went to the clinic on 29 Jun 2022 Wed 8.20am. I did my AIA Vitality Basic Health Screening, paid and left the clinic at around 9.20am. Just before I left the clinic, I asked how long does it take for the result to be out. The guy reception told me within 3-4 working days and told me to come only after I received a sms from them to say the result is out. Today is 6 Jul 2022 Wed 2pm and I still did not receive any sms. As I am travelling on this Fri, I decided to call to ask about my result. No one picked up the call again. So I made a trip down to the clinic. They found my result among one of the files placed at different locations, showing not very organised. Don't understand why they did not inform me when the results are ready.
