The Uncle is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. Very professional service but please negotiate well for the pricing and know what is he going to do for that price.

I booked the appointment and the person never came, and when I called them, they said they need to check then hang up the phone immediately. Very rude and unprofessional service.

1st dayβ€” I come tmrw (no time indicated) 2ndβ€”I called to asked, they say 4 to 6, never show up, I called at 6, they say 8pm 3rdβ€”sms At 830 twice to ask what time no reply till 530pm Very un reliable, Expect us to wait at their convenient time where my bedsheets is stocked in the washer for days & cant do laundry

Im surprised by the dedicated work he performed. This uncle from orientalservicecentre is very experience and knowledgeable to repair my washer when the other 2 companies i engaged were unable to, they simply charged me for a transport fee to earn quick bucks and also use abusive language... a lesson learnt.. if u are looking to save your washer, u may want to try this company.

I engaged Oriental Service for the 1st time. Their Tech, KK Tan, Old man, very experienced, took 3 mins to diagnose the problem like a Doctor using his Stethoscope & fix the issue in $100 rather buying A New Washing Macine. Strongly reccomends for others to engage this KK Tan.

The first technician, an Uncle was patient and meticulous in diagnosing and repairing the door lock on my LG washing machine, for which they charged $180, with a warranty period of 60 days. However the problem remained unresolved, and that brought about challenges to get them to come back to rectify the issue. While calls calls and messages get responded to, with a lady always promising that the technician will get back to me, that did not materialise. 4 months on after numerous calls and texts, no one followed through with a call or came back to look into my problem again. The same lady, the one who always answered the line, even claimed that they have never attended to my issue previously, even though I could show them their service invoice and bank transfer payment screenshots. I eventually contacted LG to do the service. LG was prompt, and charged cheaper - $101 with a 3-month guarantee. They solved the problem. I should have gone to LG right from the start, instead of trying Oriental.

I was trying to find a technician to repair my Teka washing machine (model TK3 1490 with a water discharge issue) and was arranged through an agent to engage their service. Had a good chat with the couple who showed up at my door step at around 9pm during the repair. The uncle is very proficient and knowledgeable and the lady has been lending him a helping hand when needed. Some of the noteworthy points from the conversation we had: 1. The uncle has constantly upgraded his knowledge to keep up with the technology and took pride in his work. It is a pity that he doesn't have an apprentice. 2. They drive around in a van which is fully equipped with most (if not all) spare parts so that they can repair on the spot and save you the trouble of making another appointment. 3. They speak proper English if it matters and are able to communicate clearly with you what is the issue with your washing machine. This was not the case for some other lines which I called although they are more advertised. 4. Do not try to fix it yourself as it may cause them more work and cost you more money. 5. Their schedule is very packed due to the way the agent has made the arrangements (I have seen their little book and mobile on the numerous schedule even till 10pm+) . Be more patient if they are late or they did not pick up your call (we are all humans). Trust them that they do not just come over to earn your transportation fee without solving your issue. 6. I strongly recommend that you arrange your appointment directly with them so that they need not pay a third party fee, and they are able to give you a better estimate on their timing. 7. Fees are very reasonable and the spare parts replaced come with 2 months' warranty. Equipment is also tested before they left. Please try not to negotiate with them over small amount ok? In all, I think it is hard to match their quality of service and price. Do approach them if you have something to repair or find it a waste to dispose.
