Indomie: No flavour
Chilli: ordered the level 5, however tasted very much mostly the mashed tomato
Chicken: portion was quite alot. Prolly cos we ordered takeaway, the chicken was a little soggy

β β β β β First time trying Ayam Geprek (smashed fried chicken), and I felt like I got transported to Indonesia. The boneless fried chicken chunks were juicy and generous. Paired with Papa Ayamβs homemade spicy sambal and indomie, it was a perfect plate of comfort food. Sedap! ?

β β β β β Wow. Just wow. For fans of Nasi Ayam Penyet you might to take it to the next level with this style of Indonesian Chicken Rice- Ayam Gebrek. Best part is the sambal chilli which is hand ground in front of you upon order, to the level of spiciness desired. Or choose the sambal ijo (green) which has a standard level of spice. Finally, donβt forget to top it off with a serve of fried chicken skin. Unreal delicious.

? Food wise: The main character for this dish was the chilli, it was a challenge to attempt level 15. Just one dip using the tip of the fork was enough to spice the bull out one. Really spicy here so really need to tread carefully. Apart from the spice, the chilli had a nice freshly ground taste.
The chicken texture was decent, everything else was overwhelmed by the taste of the chilli.

β β β β β I had tried the half and half in rice and Indomie version, I love them both. The fried chicken smells good, tasted just like those fast food chains standard. Rice and noodles were normal, nothing to mention; the chilli paste is the key of the food, the strong, powerful, punchy kicks of chilli padi enhanced the flavour and brought it to another level. I will come back regularly and would love to try higher level for my next visit.
