Paris Baguette ION Orchard - 2 Orchard Turn

Quite nice atmosphere for a nice afternoon or after dinner tea time. The double chocolate fudge was too sweet though.

My usual brunch restaurant. Deserves 3.5 stars. However, I ordered the sweet creamy moment iced Americano and the photos below showed the comparison between the actual item and the poster. When I asked for more cream, the staff told me the cream is standard portion and she showed me a standard plastic container of cream. Fine with me but I thought reputable restaurants normally pay careful attention to advertising/marketing materials. In this case, there is a large discrepancy. I can accept this if I am in a hawker centre, where food photos are typically different from the actual food items. There is much room for improvement. Please take this feedback positively.

This is a bigger outlet. Chances of getting a table is higher than the smaller outlets as you need to find a table by yourself. This outlet offers dine menu on hot food. A nice place to chill out for a coffee and small bites. Only setback is the lack of service which is notable in almost all outlets. It has a cafe price tag but runs like a fast food restaurant.

Beautiful paris Baguette coffee shop. Lines on weekend but clear in 30min. The line clear much faster than TWG. Bigger branch with extended menu, but I think the menu lacks some kind of non-carb food other than salad, otherwise ok. The main dishes are 20+. I enjoyed the Hawaiian baguette and yuzu cake. Service great. Everything went smoothly. Aircon is a bit cold.

Love the choco twist, which is flaky and the choc does not taste artificial or cheap. The earl grey tea is from teatra: but the taste is quite fragrant. The Americano is okay. The place can do with more cleaning in between as the floor was full of pastry debris.

As per other branches, the foods and drinks are delicious and have good qualities. The place is quite spacious with a relaxing ambience. A bit of problem of the services. - first queue to buy dine-in meals, the food already beside the cashier but nobody attending and must wait for 10 minutes to pay (already in front of the cashier and nobody in the queue) - second queue to buy take away breads, the service crews look like overwhelmed with the online orders (although only 2 orders). I only buy 3 breads for take away and the queue in front of me only 2 online delivery man and 1 dine-in customer but I must wait for nearly 20 minutes to pay the breads. - they like to fill the coffee up to the brim. I thought only may cafe latte but the customer inf fron of me also got the same thing.

We were left waiting at the cake counter as we wanted to order cakes and even though the cafe was not even half full and there was no queue, no staff bothered to tell us that we had to order everything at the cashier. There were staff walking behind the counter and around the place but none came up to ask us if we needed help until we approached them ourselves. What’s the point of being nice and polite later when you choose to ignore your customers and leave a bad impression in the first place? Cakes and sandwiches were average nice

There was a long queue when we visited Paris Baguette on Wednesday afternoon at 3.30 pm. I was looking forward to eat. The male staff member in blue shirt was trying to manage queue which was getting longer, he was asking if we want to dine in or take away which was appropriate but they surely lack coordination as you will be asked more than once if you are dining in or taking away. The girl with striped T who was at the counter just kept on saying ,sorry we don't have that,sorry we can not make that when I requested if I can have a dish without eggs and meat. I felt that they should accommodate various diners including people like me who do not take meat ,eggs,onion and garlic. I was requesting if it's possible for them to prepare a bowl with all the plant based ingredients which were on display but just not add any meat to it,they refused. Chef did a great job, he tried to recall if any of the dishes I can have. I understand that there was a long queue and staff members looked anxious but in the near future, I wish they can look into accommodating such requests where those who don't take meat and eggs can enjoy eating there and work towards creating a calming environment. Diners can have a pleasant time if the staff member in striped T does not ask again if you wish to dine in or take away while you are done with eating and start browsing as you wish to take away some for your family members while your friend is still eating. They rush you indirectly. Perhaps seeing long queues make them anxious. The lady staff member in sky blue was updated and she apologies. She kept on maintaining a smile but her eyes looked tired. I sensed that staff members behind the counter were anxious and exhausted. Overall ambience is good and food is fresh but service can be better. The management must look into how they can run it as a cafe not as a fast food restaurant and create a sense of calm instead of staff members rushing the diners.
