★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very decent food as usual. All staff are generally nice. Special mention to the staff who helped us at the cashier, Dawn, she is very friendly and answered our questions on the membership topic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After all the CNY feasting I was begging for a switch-up and this was such a refreshing change. Our parents wanted curry fish head but we found our favourites to be the butter chicken, mixed vegetable jaipuri, garlic naan, washed down with the aromatic masala chai. Raj from the service crew was attentive and got us seated in no time. Kristina was an exceptional service crew who really left a deep impression upon us. She provided good recommendations and made us feel like home. Sad to say but it has been a while since we met such a great service crew. If you’re at nex and having a difficult time deciding what to eat, why not give Pavilion Banana Leaf a try and be pleasantly surprised by what they have to offer, just like my family did. Already looking forward to the next trip to try the other items on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really amazing Indian food. We had the tandoori mixed grill for 2, 2 butter naans, palak paneer and 2 teas. Food made really for the soul and the overall experience was elevated by a very passionate server, Kristina. Not our first time here but definitely not the last!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken chili Briyani tasted good and chicken was soft and tender. The vegetarian set was generous in portion, and the curries were not too bad to go along with the rice. The vegetable side dishes were not too bad. Iced tea tasted good with thick tea taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today my friends and I decided to try out the Indian food when we were at NEX. The atmosphere there was good and it was great place for meetup. We ordered a full curry fish head, masala chicken and some mixed vegetables on top of some garlic naan. The curry fish head was awesome and so was the masala chicken. Personally I didn’t quite like the mixed vegetables.
We love the service there. One waitress who deserves special mention would be Kristina. Very cheerful, friendly, obliging and attentive. She offered us water before we even asked while eating the curry fish head.
Remember look out for the “1 for 1” DBS promotion. Not sure when it’ll end, but it’s worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated at a very convenient location of level 2 of NEX mall, this seems to be a new restaurant serving Indian (both North and South Indian) food. They have taken up space which was previously occupied by Parata Wala.
First the ambience. They have significantly improved the interiors, looks more specious and well done. The two swings inside the dining area look beautiful.
The service: Service is v fast and I will rate them highly on this. Ms Wong who is running the show is v prompt and also understands Indian dishes.
The food: Food was OK but not wow. We ordered fried chicken 65, butter chicken, Dosa meal and Tandoori roti. Chicken 65 was too oily, need to fry at high temp so that oil dries up and strain well. Dosa set was fine. Curry accompanying Dosa was good but sambhar portion was small. Lastly butter chicken is a dish which can hardly go wrong even in inexperienced hands but unfortunately their butter chicken was not up to the mark. It was v sweet and that taste of butter was missing. Tandoori roti was the best item in all of our order.
Overall with such a nice ambience and service if they can improve on the food they will a great hit. I need to try more itms like Thali and Biryani to give a final verdict but surely there seems to be lot of scope for improvement.
Dinner for 3 costed us Sgd 68 so not too pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste is very authentic North Indian style
Really like the Bryani with the various sauces esp the white n green ones
Masala prawn also not bad which uses big fresh prawns.
Skip the samosa as flour taste too thick.
Service is abit poor as the servers just put stacked plates n dishes as their hands convenience. So end up the dishes are infront of me while the plates are at the side?! I had to rearrange the dishes n plates myself.
I will come back for the food but the service really need to improve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food served in big portion and taste delicious. Butter chicken is all time favorite! Ordered add on white rice for the butter chicken and thought basmati rice will be served but it’s really normal white rice. So take note if wants basmati rice during ordering. Overall, food served in short time, services is good as well. Definitely will come visit again.
