This is a place to go for home cooked meals. The venue is small but clean & the staff were friendly

Excellent char kway teow with "wok hei" and springy texture. The wok hei gives the smokey depth of flavour you get when the chef knows what he's doing. Prawn noodle soup is excellent too. One star deduction because of accessibility; The private carpark in the basement is reserved for owners only and the entrance/exit will give your car a rash.

sorry to say my first visit is also the last one for this place. We purposely travel from the east just to give it a try. It is not worth the journey and money sadly. This is why i seldom try new restaurant. The food here is over rated. For a restaurant to be labelled as Penang food, the taste and standard is far fetch from the original. Lack of oil, lack of flaming flavour for the char kwe tiao. The taste is unjust for the price they ask for. Although no gst, but there is service charge…. what service ? I have to place my order at the cashier and pay on the spot after i ordered. The duck mee sua also disappointing. Soup temperature is not piping hot, it was warm and no coriander leaves, duck meat seasoning is not right, texture is also off. I dont even want to mention the disappointing and overpriced almond drink. I rather pay a bit more at York hotel for the Penang buffet. bad bye.

pleasantly surprised by the food here! Price point may be quite steep but for the area I think ~$10 is not too bad. really recommend the prawn bee hoon, the prawn broth is very rich. mango salad is also very refreshing

Authentic Penang fare served here with the usual famous items on the menu like Char Kway Teow, Assam Laksa, Prawn Noodles and Lor Bak just to name a few. Run by family and service is warm and friendly. During pandemic, best to do takeaway as premises is a bit tight for eating in.

???Nice Cozy place to dine and chit chat. Rojak surprisingly good even with the peanut. They added sesame and deep fried flour like crispy crunchy things , can't recall how to describe but anyway great taste and like that crunchy feeling when bite in. The Prawn Noodles very generous with the porks and prawns. Fresh ingredients, Reasonable pricing and Delicious. ???

Penang Kitchen has been a decade, when you miss Penang food, is worth to make a trip. The food quality sometimes is good and sometimes is not so, overall still worth the trip, the price is on higher side, decent ambience.

You will find the boss, Aunty Stella, her daughter Shanmei and staff greeting each table and serving the food from the kitchen. Loving the vibes! The superb food! Rating 9/10: I must say that some dishes I have never thought that they were from Penang. Also the dishes are very homecook style and taste of HOME with secret recipes Also they are cooked by Malaysians! How authentic it can be! Among all the dishes we ordered, here are the standout dishes I loved and you must try: 1. Penang style Rojak ($9): very very delicious rojak, you will get addicted to it. The rojak has Buah Long Long fruit, rose apple, mango, cucumber, pineapple, turnip, starfruit + secret weapon : crunchy fritters. 2. Appetizer platter, Belachan Chicken Wings + Loh Bak ($15): Must try! Super delicious and the chicken wings were so fragrant. I love loh bak and likewise, addictive 3. Assam Laksa ($10): unique flavour and the soup base is superb 4. Penang Char Kway Teow ($10): check out how they cook it in the wok in the video! 5. Seafood Mee Sua Kor ($11.80): Not many local eateries, if any, serve this Penang delicacy. My personal favourite if you like mee sua! 6. Curry Kapitan with Rice ($10): I have not heard this dish before! The curry tasted really unique. A must try! 7. Buah Long Long Juice ($6): this fruit in English is called great hog plum/June plum. Penang Kitchen’s version comes with no added sugar and is super refreshing. insta: Unconventional Passionss
