I did my braces and various treatments here with Dr Chua. Dr Chua guided me professionally throughout the treatments and answered my enquires promptly and patiently. The team was also very friendly and helpful in arranging and guiding appointments related matters. Glad to have my treatments done here! :)

As a healthcare professional myself, I find Dr. Chua is a very skillful & professional dental surgeon and ranked first among many dentists I had seen before. He had removed my wisdom teeth at his Yishun outlet. He was recommended by my cousin who saw him at this outlet Polygems Dental Care (Seletar) and Dr. Chua removed my cousin wisdom teeth painlessly. Personally, I am very afraid of dentists but Dr. Chua was able to give me comfort and removed my wisdom teeth painlessly like what he did for my cousin. Highly recommend dentist (Dr. Chua) for wisdom teeth removal.

Very satisfied with the extraction & filling treatment done! I had lots of questions before the treatment but Dr were very patience & detailed. I used to visit other clinic dentist but got brushed off with my questions & doubts. But here is totally different dr chua explained the condition, procedure & estimated cost to me before they start. Best part is quick & painless! Really worth the time & cost. Thank you polygems :) just that sometimes appointment a little hard to book

Wisdom tooth surgery went exceptionally smooth! I was in and out within about 30-45mins My dentist and nurse were very reassuring. The receptionist was friendly and reassured me too. The nurse put her hand on my arm while the anaesthesia was going in. I told the dentist that I was afraid of pain and I had heard many horror stories. He reassured me that he uses the best anaesthetic and added more oral painkillers just to reassure me that it will be okay. He also assured me of his expertise in wisdom tooth surgery. That really put my anxieties to rest. They took an x-Ray before and after the procedure to show me that there were no bits left. The dentist checked in with me periodically throughout the procedure to ensure there was no pain. He would also tell me what he was doing to assure me that we were running along smoothly. He even asked me what music I liked to listen to, to which I replied Shawn Mendes ?. So he put on some Shawn Mendes music and asked me to focus on the music during the drilling. I could feel myself trembling and close to panic but my dentist’s reassurance really helped me to keep calm and relaxed. Would highly recommend Dr Chua JT Alex and team to others! Update: I did my second procedure with Dr Chua and it went super quick and smooth despite me feeling slightly nauseous initially (my bad, drank too much coffee on an empty stomach). Best service I’ve ever received for a medical procedure! ?

Brought my then 5/6 year old son to review his tooth ache (maybe last year). Dentist checked and said its a tooth trying to erupt but got stuck in the gum hence the ache. So needed to do a small cut and can be covered by medisave. Really did not expect the final cost to hit near 4 figures and I had to fork out a few hundreds in cash. Vowed never to step into this clinic ever. Was really struggling to report to police because I felt cheated and no, it was not a complicated surgery and neither did the dentist advised the actual figures. Not sure where the good reviews come from.

Booked a usual tooth cleaning appointment. Reached there on time but the dentist was late for 20 minutes. He did a quick check on my teeth and told me that i am not suitable for normal cleaning and refused to do a tooth cleaning for me. He then proposed a gum treatment (which will cost SGD 1000) that requires anesthesia. When i told him that i am not prepared for this kind of treatment, he just did a 5 minutes consultation with googles. The whole process from seeing the dentist till i stepped out from the clinic last less than 10 minutes and i was charged for SGD 35 for the so called "consultation". And when i happened to look at the receipt, i just realized i was charged for consumable also but no cleaning was done at all. This is not the first time i go for tooth cleaning and no dentist had ever refused to do a tooth cleaning for me or proposed gum treatment instead. If there is a policy in the clinic that the dentist may not do the cleaning if the gum is not suitable, it should be stated clearly; instead of using this kind of cheap consultation to earn quick bucks.
