The cake was tasty and the coffee was a decent. The location and the view of the Singapore river couldn't be better as well

Potential to be great... After a concert at the ACM, I was so moved that I want to have a slightly posh lunch. When I walk into Privé, the setup and ambience were perfect. Greeted by a very friendly staff and showed me to my seat. I chose a marble top table (reminiscing the old kopitiam feeling) at the corner of the restaurant, over looking the beautiful Singapore River. When the menu were handled to me, I ask him for recommendations and he pointed me to one of my favourites... Laksa. Without hesitation or looking at the price, I ordered the it. When it was served to me, it smells really great and the broth is thick. That is what I like about it and served with huge prawn, taupok and pigeon eggs and white thick vermicelli - Yum! Unfortunately, the first bite destroyed my first impression. The broth was too salty and the vermicelli is a little to cut up for my likings. Subsequently, I ordered carrot cake and my favourite Americano. The coffee was great but the carrot cake disappointing. It looks great when I was served to me. But when cut with my fork, it crumbles up, the cake is too dry. Plus the side of the cake is hard and I believe the cake has been cut up and left in the open for quite a long time. With the ambience and the location, this restaurant can really be a wonderful place to have a great meal, a place of tranquility and since it is near the business district, I would be proud to bring my clients or even signning deals on these table. I really hope that the management would take some time to evaluate their food preparation.

Privé ACM is quieter and smaller than most other outlets but still nice. We had the impossible meatball pasta, pork belly aglio olio, eggs benedict, flourless pancakes and oat latte. The pastas were good although the impossible meatballs were a little dry. Flourless pancakes had too much oatmeal/muesli pieces for us but good for those who enjoy. Oat latte was great and they use oatside milk here which made it creamier. Service was so-so as staff were mainly part-timers who were not very attentive. Overall, it was good but still not our go-to.

The location is lovely, right by the river, and if you catch a lovely evening it's great. The food is fine, and happy hour has affordable house wines, but be prepared to pay Singapore downtown prices otherwise. Service is nice enough. It's far more chill than the party central Boat Quay across the river, so if you want to chill and people watch, it's a nice spot.

Great place for breakfast during weekends. Al fresco area has nice view of Singapore river and boat quay. Very relaxing environment and nice food as well.

One of the restaurants that serve quality western cuisine. Good and chilling environment, staff are friendly (initiate to help us to take a photo, checking up on us on the quality of food) Mains: - Minute Steak & Fries, one of the affordable steaks I’ve tried yet good. The steak (Medium) was chewy and rich favor. The black pepper sauce was given, thick, and have a small kick to it. The salad was simple and refreshing, fries is crispy on the outside and soft inside. Soup: - Forest Mushroom Soup, a pretty standard soup won’t go wrong. The garlic bread accompany it was delicious, crispy yet rich in garlic favor. Dessert: - Apple & Cinnamon Blondie, amazing flavor, the apple cake has bit in it and the ice cream on top simply merge so well with the hot apple cake underneath it. The dish was also covered in Gula Melaka caramel, which enhance the unique sweetness flavor. Got to try this if you’re a fan of sweet kicks! Drinks: - Classic Margarita, refreshing yet nothing amazing about it, mint slightly overpower the drink. Would recommend trying the Berry & Lychee Margarita instead, the fruit cover the mint kick which balances it well.

Had a meal there on 2nd Feb 2022. Ordered couple of coffees and pastries. It was bad. Never had such a terrible croissant before. It was extremely dry. The Black Forest cupcake had such a weird taste. Other than the chocolate portion, it doesn’t bear any other semblance to what a Black Forest pastry would have. Tried a couple of mouthfuls and it left a very unpleasant aftertaste. Definitely overpriced and not worth a visit. The one star is for the view.

The food was tasty. Service was meh but the quality of the food made up for it. The food also came very quickly. We ordered the vegan chicken rice, impossible gyoza, and the impossible sliders. Everything tasted great and I'm so happy that there are tons of vegetarian and vegan options. The only disappointing thing was the chicken rice soup which knocked a star off. It literally tasted like warm water. There was no flavour at all. The portions were also tiny so we were a little hungry after the meal, but we also ordered only one main and two starters instead of two mains and a starter, so that could be why. I would definitely try this place again because I genuinely did enjoy the food. I hope they fix the chicken rice soup because the rest of the dish was great.
