RedDoorz Premium @ Balestier - 387 Balestier Rd

Location is not convenient. It's between 2 mrt stations, have to take bus to reach either station, and it's about 6-7 stops either way. Some more, have to use over head bridge to cross the street as the bus stops at the opposite side of the hotel. It's not convenient at all with toddler travelling with us. We had to climb up and down the stairs under the hot sun! No fridge in the room, something that every 3-4 stars hotel should always have! No proper bathroom. It is just a glass cubicle, with sliding door that couldnt close properly. No privacy at all. Do not recommend the room for couple or friends who need to keep things private when in the bathroom. Worst thing is our room was on 2nd floor just right above the bar on the ground floor. Almost every night we could hear people talking loud and laughing. It is happening now as im typing this review at 2.30am. Management needs to do something on this! Guests are entitled to have a good sleep in the room that they have already paid for!

Stayed in room 404.. For 2 nights. Room eye view is in picture. Room is very comfortable. Slept like a baby. Toilet is no problem just 1 step away. LoL. Just that the rooms have this weird smell when you first enter. No problem on this room But stayed another night at room 201 Level 2. Could not sleep there. Energy there feels weird. Something in that room keep twitching you up when you about to fell asleep.. Go walk 100m to go to nearby famous Balestier FoodStall. Wide range of local foods there. I had the famous Steamed chicken rice..

It's comfortable, convenient and clean. A standard boutique hotel surrounded by eateries. Public transportation available just metres away. Shopping malls are close by. Room is comfy for 1-2 people. It's mostly for friends or couples. I wouldn't recommend families with children. They have other properties to accommodate families. This one is more for a quiet get away. Front Office personnel are professional and friendly. I see some reviews saying transport is far and not convenient.. I don't know what they mean by that.. Train station is about 6-7 mins by bus..And there's 2 train stations to choose from.. Buses come at regular intervals and it's cheap.. Room amenities are standard.. You get the usual toiletries, shampoo and bodywash are separated and are attached in the bathroom, electric kettle, safe box, hairdryer, free WiFi, Smart TV with Local Channels.. 24 hour reception.. Anyway, come try the place out for yourself and experience it.. Not everyone shares the same views.. Maybe yours might just be better! ?

Room is new and modern if small, but has all you need. But cleaning is only once a week, the least of any hotel I’ve been in. Front desk is variable, some very nice and helpful, but most with no manners and won’t even look up or acknowledge you when greeted

There is no laundry service. But everything is fine.

The hotel is good, however not suggest it due to its location

I think hotel 81 premier is way better then your hotel. The price is lower. The room is bigger The bed is better The staff is more friendly The key point. They change your bed sheet and towel when you ask for room cleaning.
