β β β β β Drink finishedβ¦ Soju finishedβ¦ food is not here. Kids finished eating their dinner from lunchbox, our food is STILL not here. And we only ordered one item on the menu - UFO chicken with cheese. By the way, itβs 5.45pm on a weekday and there were only 2 other tables occupied when we came in. And they were already halfway thru their meal.

β β β β β Disappointing food. Chicken was really so-so, for 16 pieces of small boneless chicken and some cheese - $42.
We waited for close to 1 hour for our second dish to come, and started noticing customers who came later than us getting served. After we asked, the manager (or owner) just responded with - yeah itβs cooking. For 1 hour?? To try 8 pieces of chicken wings? And why are other customers getting served before us?
Sheβs not apologetic even when we then walk up to pay and cancel the order. Such poor service.

β β β β β I visited the Goobne Chicken GWC branch on the 2nd day of the CNY holidays. Perhaps it is due to the overwhelming number of diners, we waited for a good 35 mins for our food. The bulgogi beef was dry and slightly overcooked while the korean pancake was undercooked.

β β β β β Serving is ridiculously little. Imagine getting half a tupperware worth of tteokbokki when it costs $15. And it is part of the mains menu. Sauce is very watery too.
I really don't think they should publicise it with Business Proposal since they cannot even live up to the expectations people have based on the drama. Don't ruin the brand and the show please.

β β β β β Let's talk about the food first, due to its location, the prices of the food is slightly on the higher side as compared to those you see on a neighbourhood shopping mall. However, credits where credits is due, we really do enjoy the food, taste really good as compared to other similar store.
Service is where this store is lacking, no one was there at the entrance to appoint us any tables initially even thou the store wasn't busy at the timing. We had to walk in and asked if it was free seating before they appoint us a table. Then the Korean lady which I believe to be their lady boss needs to realise a baby is also a human being.
When we are seated, she actually told us to push our baby stroller into a corner away from our table so as to maintain a safe distancing from the next table where she can just easily remove a chair from our table to let our baby join us. Luckily her staffs was smart enough to do and that is why I have decided to give a 3 out of 5 stars.

β β β β β Average Korean Food. The Ginseng Chicken Soup was the standout item. Tell you a jokeβ¦ Young waitress was blur like sotong. Ask for hot water and say they do not serve. We told the waitress to charge us hot water for hot tea price, we are fine with thatβ¦. Unable to fulfil the request. Thumbs down from my elderly family members. Food was on the pricey sideβ¦

β β β β β 4 stars for the food, the items we ordered were quite good but 2 stars for service. This place looks understaffed on a sat evening, only one Korean lady (not sure if sheβs the owner) is running running taking orders, sitting customers and settling the payment. Had to wait quite a while to be seated, and for food to be served.

β β β β β Saw the restaurant on my korean drama movie Business Proposal and went to try this. Queue about 20 minutes when I came on the weekend 2pm. No more queue around 3pm already.
Ordered two types of chicken: original and soy sauce. They were authentic korean oven roasted chickens. Wanted to try volcano rice cake but I don't think it is suitable for children. Taking bimbibap instead. It was also good. Suitable for children. Came with kimchi and fried fish. Kimchi is not refillable, $3 per serving, kinda quite expensive.
Took a while for the serving, it was full house when I was there so I was expecting to be served not that soon.
