★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice exterior BUT the rudest sales staff I have ever seen!
I strolled into this shop and saw one auntie slurping her lunch in the middle of the showroom and another aunty seated on a sofa and reading newspapers. Both were also engaged in senseless banter, never stopping even though I had walked into the shop.
No one greeted me and I was totally ignored for the whole 7mins I spent in the shop browsing. There were no other customer except me.
There were a few interesting items I saw as I am shopping for bedroom furniture for my renovation.
But I swear, even if the items are exclusive to this shop, I would rather not buy!
This is how they treat the customers! Why? Just cos I am in t shirt, bermudas and flip flops means I cannot afford? Or cos its 7th month and either I am "seeing things" in the showroom or they thought they are "seeing things" and hence just treat me as non existent!
Warning, enter at your own risk!!

I purchased few pieces of teak furniture from Scanteak Signature @ Westgate and other Scanteak outlets.
Staff Florence from Scanteak @ Westgate outlet has good customer service attitude. She is warm, pleasant and sincere. She know the product very well and had shared few tips on maintaining the teak furniture.
I am a repeated customer of Scanteak Westgate because I enjoyed her service. Keep up the good customer services Florence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a bed with a pull out bed for my children. The pull out bed broke around 8 months after delivery.
The website mentions that it uses quality teak wood, which is the reason why we bought the bed. Extremely disappointed that a bed cannot even last for one year even when it is used by a 9 year old child. When we contacted them, their response is simply that "the warranty is no longer valid" and referred me to their terms of the warranty. Zero attempt to find out what was the problem and offer any solution.
Terrible experience and the customer service really leaves much to be desired.

Also shared alot of useful tips for the usage of scanteak products. Most importantly, convinced us to purchase the lovely sofa at great promotional price :). In the end, we bought a v. good quality sofa set plus good customer service from Mr Andy. Also, got a useful store gift promotion. Delivery was on time, too. Worry free transaction.
