β β β β β We enjoyed our dinner here but felt the serving portion was a bit small. I generally donβt appreciate paying for dip sauce in a steamboat restaurant (donβt have βsacha sauceβ some more). Decor and ambience were very soothing. Simple with much wood element. Soup base were good. We had mala and sukiyaki (sorry if spell wrongly). Mala was tasty but not too spicy.Suki was a bit sweet. Meats were within expectation. Pork belly was always our favourite. Would have preferred to have more veggies. The Japanese thick βbeehoonβ was surprisingly nice. Doesnβt soften even when over-cook. But for a rice bucket like myself, nothing beats a bowl of plain rice ?which, in this case, is really worth its price.

β β β β β Place seem simple and clean, the value set gives only half a hot pot which was disappointing as the other half of plain water boiling. Taste of the Ginseng broth is so so only as it get diluted the moment they refill with normal stock. Quantity without any add on is really not enough for one person but with add on it comes to 30 plus per person for small hot pot. Do not think I will drop by again. Not worth the amount paid.

β β β β β Newly open hotpot at Serangoon NEX mall, food are nice and price is pretty reasonable, but it seems like lack of manpower when comes to peak hour , staffs getting busier so can't help us refill the green tea on time.
Hope by next time visiting they can improve it! Keep going

β β β β β Came on a Saturday night and managed to get a table within 20 minutes, service was prompt and food came first. Portion just nice for one person. Chicken collagen soup tasted bland at the start but once u add in the ingredients, the soup is quite tasty. Sukiyaki soup on the salty side. Very value for money?

β β β β β There is a parents day set deal going on right now for about $50++ not a bad spread the taste of the soup was good, meat taste better because of it compared to others I have tried, only thing I didn't like was their noodles.

β β β β β Power lunch set super worth it. Beef pork or chicken and 2 types of beef to choose. Soup is nice and tasty, with chicken tsukune, variety of vegetables , mushrooms and rice and green tea (hot or.cold) for about $13.9 + GST + service charge. Value for $. Only Mon to Fri (11am to 5pm), not available on public holiday or eve of public holiday.
They hire some elderly staff to support them , one of the elderly lady named Ah Hoon provides very good services and was very kind. Recommend to try!

β β β β β Normal shabu shabu. Meat quality average, vegetables quality average. Plenty of soup base to choose from and the better one will need to top. Set meal was value for money. I cannot define the Dipping sauce genre, it is like a combination of Chinese, Thai and unknown. However price indeed worth it if u crave for shabu and dun want to to spend.
