I upsized the kway chap to $5.50, which included pork belly, small intestines, pig skin, tau pok, egg and a bowl of 粿 but without large intestines. The ingredients were soft but a little too bland.

Enjoyed the kway chap and large intestines, though would prefer the gravy to be richer in flavour.

Taste wise I consider rather refreshing and meat is fresh and clean. However for $3.50 for 1 person with pathetic portion size is quite disappointing.

Popular store with always some queue during weekends. Above average taste but the meat is not as soft as expected.

Food blogs says this is the best, i disagree. Soup taste bland. Pig's intestine is chewy and soft, meat is soft. I think overall is ok but i wouldnt join the queue if i come here. Uncle's service could be more cheerful and i think his assistant needs a break! They all look so tired of cutting and cooking...

I would say average as the kway chap is a real test of the kueh Teow quality in term of how smooth and thin it is and the braised meat . However, the kway Teow kind of hard and like buy it off the shelf. The braised meat was tasty and tender. Like the braised intestines here. The braised sauce kind of blend .. $3.50 for portion given kind of little . I won’t say this worth to grant a Michelin guide food..

Mediocre Kway chap. Not the cheapest and value-for-money out there as well. Kway broth was lightly herbal and savoury. But the braised sauce was leaning towards the light bland side, lacking aroma and flavour. Braised meat was tender. Innards and egg were well-braised.

Rather dilited on the kway, taste really bland. The braised sauce doesnt taste very good as well and lacks depth. The innards are well braised other wise but its still very bland. The speed that the owner clears the queue is also relatively slow, you would see the owner sharpening knife despite cutting soft innards and tofu and they would be focus on making their braised sauce when they are having a crowd. Could be a possibility to look like they have a long queue and is in demand.
