D	Ded F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food no doubt is good, BUT: super disapppointed by their services: 1. Was't greeted (they had always used to) but only rudely asked about my check-in.... fine, now covid situation, everyone especially f&b are on their toes; understood 2. After waiting 32mins, another table who came after me was served, i went to counter to check, then it was brought to my table, was informed by their manager ("wee sheng" if spelled correctly) that kitchen made a blunder on orders, forgiven 3. All the meat were cold already, upon checking if food was left at the kitchen hence served late, kitchen staff acknowledged; forgiven But their manager need not lie about item 2, and least they could do is warm it first prior to serving..... Disappointed!

Tenzaru is a bit underwhelming, tempura consists of 2 prawns, mushroom, pumpkin, sweet potato, and a piece of fish. Taste is okay-ish. For the Shin Buta Platter my favourite is definitely the Black Pepper Kurobuta Pork, the smoky flavour of the pork with the sauce chef's kiss. Yuzu Mint Sochu High is not bad. Overally not a bad experience, nice environment, there is even sea view for some of the seats. Wait staffs are generally polite and attentive.
J	Joe Soh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Japanese skewer which have value set lunch promo. From the outside, the restaurant looks quiet but once you walk in, it's crowded inside. Quite a big restaurant and it was busy when we visited. Ordered the ibi kaarage curry rice and the bento set from the lunch menu. Waited quite a while for the food to be served and the waiter updated that they have run out of rice and need to wait for the next batch to be cooked. The dishes tastes okay but could have gotten a more value meal from the food court above. Next time will be there to try the other menu.

But we need to keep asking for more menus ?? they only give us set lunch and yakitori menu.... All grilled pork has a smell ? pork belly is very tough and dry... grilled onigiri taste more butter than soy.... Warabi tastes like expired ones, Donki ones are much more better... Charcoal sweet potato is nice... Garlic fried rice has nice garlic fragrance but must eat while hot, cause the butter smell will override garlic once its cooled. Sashimi is thick! Surprised to see tempura egg in Tendon set lunch. Nice view but too bright and warm during lunch when sitting right next to full height glass ??

The yakitori were pretty decent with good pricing and well cooked. The wings are fully cooked and yet moist, just the way I like it. Service were also good, especially most of the younger staff, very genuine, hardworking and polite.
L	Logan Chiam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Yakitori And Sashimi! Shin Kushiya is my go to for flavourful yakitori! Their sashimi, sushi and maki are yummy too! Their dining area is spacious and service great. This restaurant feels like you are away from the hustle and bustle of vivo once you are inside. Price is fair and to me is of good value. Try their chicken skin, its addictive!

We ordered several different types of grilled meats (don't be fooled by the amount - it's filling after you eat a few sticks - my advice is to share with someone to try more stuff). For some strange reason, the fried food tastes much better. Service is excellent - could be because only a few tables are occupied. But at least they were very polite when we were to last table to leave ?.
