Average food, slow to serve, some orders didnโ€™t come. Tuna sashimi has a funny sour taste, issue was quickly rectified by the staff. Some items if you click 1 portion only they will really serve 1 piece only but for gyoza, I click 1 portion and was served 5 piece? and the gyoza taste horrible. The rolls taste ok. Grilled items took very long to come. The mochi taste ok. Salted caramel brownie Ice cream look and taste like frozen bread ? The worst is the fruits, the dragon fruit skin wasnโ€™t remove. Some items not available also. And the worst of the worst is, the robot serving system. Some of the customers took other tableโ€™s food and some of the uncivilized customers even left their used plates, utensils and tissues on the robot server when the robot server still has food for other tables. This is super disgusting ? Overall very average for 1 for 1 entertainer. One weird thing is, it is a Japanese restaurant but they keep playing old Canton pop songs and Chinese songs lol ?

Came here for the omizu lunch buffet. The pricing was reasonable in terms of the variety of options you get; but if you are just in the mood for sashimi, there are better and cheaper options out there. Sashimi was decent and fresh, the ika and tako was pretty good. Thick cuts so you get a good mouth feel when eating. Grilled orders took forever to come, and despite the QR code ordering system, some orders went missing and the staff had to come and ask if we were still waiting for something. All in all, Iโ€™m not likely to come here again but thatโ€™s because I donโ€™t live in the east. I enjoyed the harvest maki and hanabi maki most.

Had lunch buffet weekday 1 for 1. For that price definitely very competitive. The food is good. Quite a few dishes to choose from. Quite safe I believe as everyone was seated far away from one another. However I felt that crowd was overwhelming and staff was having a hard time to get dishes out to everyone. Some people were nasty customers and kept picking on the staff when their dishes took too long and or missed out. Staff had to apologise constantly, not easy. I had a few dishes missed out as well myself but I did not bother to chase or remind as itโ€™s a buffet anyway. Using robot waiters to deliver dishes showed that company is moving forward and and trying to improve- good pointers. Good place for sashimi, soups, and grilled dishes. I likes tempura and takoyaki as well. Thanks for the overall experience.

Been here a few times and always enjoyed the food. Sashimi is fresh and the aburi is delicious. Cooked food is good too. The items for the hotpot is nice, especially the scallops. Service is good as usual. I brought my own wine so paid $25 for corkage.

WORTH IT IF WITH HSBC ENTERTAINER 1-FOR-1!! Went for the Omizu Lunch Buffet during Friday noon. Had a Large array of sushi for us to choose! Grilled foods were also available! The sashimi were quite fresh and yummy! Sushi was nice too! Grilled stuff however, came cold and some seasoned till way too sweet! Fruits at the end and the mochi were very refreshing and nice (: The food came relatively quick and was delivered by robot! Very cute hehe. P.S. avoid ordering some stuff like the pan fried veggies for exampleโ€ฆ they come in such a HUGE portion, seemingly trying to purposely make you full ?

Was looking for a nice place to bring my mum to eat for her birthday and came on a friendโ€™s recommendation. I decided to book a reservation for weekday lunch Omizu buffet which costs $60.90 (excl service and GST) for an adult pax. Shin Minori had a birthday promo where the birthday person dines free. Prior to my visit, I was reading other google reviews and was a bit wary of the wait time after ordering food via a QR code. To my pleasant surprise, the food that was ordered actually came pretty swiftly. The restaurant was maybe about 3/4 filled with people at that time and the two robot servers were really quick to arrive (plus cute too). Food taste wise there were some dishes which were mediocre and some which are notably tasty. (I enjoyed the mentaiko sushi, gyoza, hotpot and grilled dishes). Sashimi though fat and looked really fresh, did not taste as sweet as I thought it would. Their fried dishes (truffle fries, tempura) were not impressive but alright. Overall a pleasant visit and will definitely return. The running promos make Shin Minori a value for money choice for buffet and Japanese cuisine lovers.

Went for the dinner buffet with $15 top-up for free flow oysters. Oysters were fat and juicy and very yummy! ?? The sashimi cuts were fresh, thick and generous. Food was served hot and delivered to your table via a robot. Ordering was a breeze via the QR code scan; orders can be placed for the same table by my friends and me concurrently using our own mobile phone. This outletโ€™s quality of food is higher and more consistent that the other outlets that I have been to. However, they lost a star cos their other cooked dishes were all too too salty ? Overall, still a good choice as Japanese buffet restaurant.

Nice cozy place. The service crews are also very friendly. We get the buffet menu. However, the ordering system is unable to check what you ordered, what is served and what is pending. Hence, there is a number of orders which i need to re-order as it did not come and even need to check with the crews a few times. Hope it can be improved. The portion is quite good as they serve in small portion so that you can try more varieties. Except for the Unagi fried rice as it quite a big portion.
