β β β β β A great range of dishes with some good flavours. Extensive choice of sake for the connoisseur. Service was good for us, but was clearly stretched for anyone seated outside.

β β β β β I ordered wagyu beef with flat noodles. It was too sweet to my taste. Green tea is free-flow. You could opt out appetizer if you want too.
Overall was good.

β β β β β Iβm satisfied with the recommended sake and all the skewers we ordered. It canβt be wrong to try their signature skewers. Some food i forgot to take photos but the fried garlic rice was good as well.
Agreed with others about the waiting time was way too long. We waited for more than 35mins to get our first dish.

Meat Bar - My fav dish from there so far. Unique dish served with a raw egg, chicken meat very tender, flavourful and crispy
Chicken tsukune meatballs - packed with flavour, crispy
Oyster rolled with pork - Very fresh, flavourful, clean feel, love the touch of the seaweed
Scallop rolled with pork - Umami! very fresh and clean, love the touch of the seaweed
we also ordered their mixed grilled set and garlic fried rice but was p disappointed with these dishes.
felt the mixed grilled set could have better skewer options included instead of mostly veggies (3/5 sticks) mushroom, asparagus and leek.
garlic fried rice was just lacklustre, garlic taste profile just wasn't strong enough and tasted rather plain!
all in all, would say they do have good skewers, just have to pick the right ones!

β β β β β Dunno why i never walked in before this..tried a couple of sticks of yakitori plus an omelette fried rice with oysters.
The Kaki Omelette Rice was pretty decent but i found it a tad too bland for my liking..
The Sake Harami (Grilled Salmon Belly) was pretty dry and non-descript.would pass on this the next time as it wasnt anything spectacular..
We also ordered a fried vegetable dish with miso,Yasai Miso Itame. Now that was pretty inspiring. The medley of mushroom,eggplant and onions went spectacularly well with the miso sauce. I would leave out the bell peppers doh,as a personal preference.
The Tori Reba( Grilled Chicken Liver was another let-down..i had high hopes for it but it wasnt anything to shout about as the liver lacked sweetness nor smokiness from the grill.
However, a special shoutout for the Shisamo and the Hatsu (Chicken Hearts). They were insanely good,grilled to perfection and very very flavorful and not chewy nor hard.I would go back just for these 2 items alone..

β β β β β One of favourite izakaya place and been a regular here for years, esp for their skewers. Always done nicely, not too salty or under salty and grilled to perfection. What i like is the pace of which the dishes come out, its paced such that none of the dish will turn cold. Recommend their yuzu drink as well if you're not into sake.

β β β β β The charcoal grilled items on skewer were better better than I have had elsewhere. The menu is not so exciting but did manage to order few βdifferentβ items that I liked such as the oyster in seaweed and pork, rice cake wrapped in pork, squid, shiitake with minced chicken. Forget the ox tongue. It was dry. Note- the grilled items come as two skewers per plate. The cabbage appetizer (not free, charged at 3$) didnβt look appealing so we declined. I would suggest for it to be complimentary or just put it on menu for people to decide whether they want it or not rather than serving without mentioning about the charge.

β β β β β Had dinner with group of friends. Popular for food and drinking spot, so expect busier than usual during dinner. Book table is advisable. Good food overall, service is fair consider the staff are busy tending to patrons.
