It's located in a relatively quiet and peaceful mall, making it seem like a hidden gem. The shop is also spacious enough for a good dining-in experience. Food wise, I don't know if I was starving at that point in time or I generally had low expectations, but everything tasted great for me. The staff serving us was polite, and she even brought sauce to us. The Throughout our dinner, we didn't have to leave our table to serve ourselves. Overall, it was a positive dine-in. I hope your Mookata would open until 3am+ so my friends and I could be degens and have late supper there. Please don't close down. Bukit Panjang has nothing else that's as exciting as this.

The ingredients served here somehow feels higher quality than the kopitiam variant of Siam square mookata I'm not really sure. But I love the variety and cheap pricing. There also an smoke exhaust for every table so we don't smell bad after eating in an smokey air conditioned restaurant. However, there's service charge and GST here. But the staff is very friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my meal here. Average cost: $15 per pax

First and the last time eating Mookata. The environment and service was so bad. Waited 15mins or more for our rice and Thai milk, approached 2 staffs about it and none return. Ordered 5 servings of pork belly, came soaking in blood water.. For a F&B, it's common sense to drain away the blood water, no? Suspecting the rice they're serving is left over night? We ate a few pieces of hard texture rice. It's our first time giving Mookata a try, anticipating for a pleasant dining experience, but failed badly. The only thing I enjoyed, is only the Thai milk tea. Not recommended.

This is the best Siam Square mookata branch in my experience as all the staff are friendly, helpful and very attentive. The items price are affordable and food portion are generous. Love most of the marinated meat items especially the mutton which are very flavourful on its own without need to dip much of the Chili sauce. You can have buffet here for $29 per person but it’s better to go ala carte as you can’t pick items that are over $4 if you opt for buffet and it’s hard to eat the $29 worth of food unless you’re very hungry. Better make reservation ahead for peak period as it’s usually full and will require 1-2 hours waiting if walk in.

Generally the same experience as the other outlets - quite pleased with the air-con and ventilation system that kept the lingering BBQ smell to a minimum. Prices were generally average at a decent portion. There is also a buffet option at $29.99++ per person but the ala carte was sufficient for us. We really enjoyed their spicy chicken and beef Karubi selection, but the black pepper marinate is really lacking as it is just clumpy black pepper powder smeared on parts of the meat and it doesn’t spread before/after cooking. The soup was also rather bland and tasteless, and was only lifted if you add the seasoning from the instant noodles. Staff was helpful and friendly though! Also took the time to explain the different chilli options, and food was served quickly. Will return again but probably not get the black pepper items again.

Food quality is similar to other outlets. Can't say its mind blowing but it is value for money. Restaurant air-con and exhaust system works well. Our clothes don't smell like Mootaka after the meal. Satisfied.

Prices are very reasonable. There is a buffet option but items $4 and above are excluded. I think al carte option is good enough and perhaps more worth it. Fish paste noodle was best dish, did not seems to be found easily else where. Meat selection was great. I feel everything was generally sweet, not sure if it’s just sugar or some seasoning. Drinks are reasonably price. Expect to wait during peak hours.

Good place to eat bbq in air-conditioning place. It has an exhaust fan above each table. The food was good and the prawns were fresh. And I like the chilli sauce too. Service was prompt but maybe due to busy timing, at multiple times the service staff literally threw the empty gas can into the waste bin which lead to loud noise. This was quite unpleasant. I hope the Operator can look into this. Other than that, it's a great place to dine.
