★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This morning’s breakfast. Pretty good. Tasty flavours. Decent quality and taste of the ingredients. Good, robust dark broth without going overboard with the herbs.
Chili sauce was ok. Some heat but flavour lacked a little complexity that would have elevated it.
Overall, satisfying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its kway is silky soft and the soup is brewed to prefect. For a $5 plate of fresh ingredients kway chap, it is worth my calories! Beancurd is soft and the large intestines are soft and chewy. Remember they rest on Thursdays! Starting at 8am to 2pm.

Intestines were thoroughly cleaned. Braise sauce was fragrant and well-infused into the meat, intestines, egg. Kway broth is standard, albeit a tad diluted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Store owner have been there for moe than 20 years or even longer. Authentic Kway Chap at a reasonable price as compared to others. Only few things need to take note, car park is limited can choose to park opposite HDB or even Siglap Center. Next is the seats, due to covid it is limited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kway Chap not too bland. Not the herbal kind of Kway Chap which is fine. The garlic oil adds a certain depth to the Kway. Braised meat is braised quite well. Pork skin is soft and not too chewy. Small intestine is braised to perfection however the big intestine is on the tougher side. The braised is light in flavor but not bland. Perfect balance of taste and texture and the q is around 10 to 20 mins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a humble stall in a coffeeshop. Within seconds of interactions can tell stall owner uncle is a kind and patient person. I went at 11am+. No queue.
Ordered kway chap with everything for 2 persons. $12. I would definitely go again.
Special mention is the 肠 and 猪皮is so clean. 老板真的很用心。有为客人着想的。不是随便弄的。 Can tell owner Uncle prepares the food with his heart and conscience. He made sure his ingredients are prepared with utmost standards. Those who eat intestines and pork skin would understand what I'm talking about .
Kway chap was silky n soup was the just right taste, not too salty but the right taste.
All the ingredients were so clean n tasty. I love it that he added salted vegetables. He's also got the option of steamed chilli white fish cake that Teochews like.
