★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the 5 dollars meepok dry. Chili is good. Prawn has the strange crispy texture.think they add powder to give the prawns a crunchy feel. Minced meat was tasteless. Overall an average dish.nothing fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in Soy Eu Tua coffee shop, likely hard to miss when you're passing by. Gets quite crowded during lunch times, but super love how aunty has such a good system in getting your orders out. Apparently they're the original Jalan Tua Kong bcm. But that's what everyone says anyways.
Mee pok is bouncy, chilli is solid, and the vinegar rounds everything up nicely. Super good mee pok if you're in the area. But I may think twice if I'm traveling from one end of Singapore to have this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven’t been to this place in ages - about 15 years.
Unfortunately I am disappointed with the quality of the mee pok this round. The noodles is a bit hard and did not take in the sauce well. It’s as if the noodles are just blanched in hot water and quickly thrown into the bowl.
The sauce is too oily and does not have the kick to make this a three or even a four star meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Certainly not the best bah chor mee around. Service was unnecessarily rude. Portions were adequate but not generous with the fishballs, minced meat and fishcake. No dace, hee kiau or porkballs like some of the other brand names. Would certainly choose other options

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best of all the ah lim mee poks (I have tried 3 stalls at simpang bedok and the one at 6th avenue). The sambal here is the tastiest and makes the mee pok stand out. It can be a little too spicy for some but if you ask for less chili, you will miss the point of this mee pok.
