My first time here . Previously went to the other restaurant few stalls away . Decided to try this one this time . Great customer service and they are very attentive. The staff actively checked with us if there was anything we need as we were looking at the cashier . They will serve soup before we even order food. Soup is ?.Chicken rice is delicious with their garlic oil . Wil come back again.

A longstanding Option for Chicken Rice, Sing Swee Kee offers the classic steamed chicken rice, as well as Tze Char dishes to complete the dining experience. Sing Swee Kee gets the finer details right; the rice texture, the chili and ginger, and the rare but nostalgic chicken rice balls.

Ordered 2 chicken rice, 1 side of fried rice balls (3 for $2.50) and 2 drinks. Chicken rice was alright, the standard has been the same over the years so no complaint. I like the fact that when you done in you get free flow ginger and chilli which taste great! The fried rice balls were a tad disappointing. The picture in the menu made it seem as though they were huge but they were only a bit smaller than ping pong ball size. Taste wise they were average at best so I definitely won't recommend, not even for the novelty of it. Not worth. The coffee was good and inexpensive, just $1.50 which is cheaper than most places. Will be back for the coffee for sure :)

We visited Sing Swee Kee as part of a Singapore Rediscovers package. Positives: Person who received us and walked us through the chicken rice plating workshop was polite, friendly and welcoming. Area was already set aside with all the ingredients prepped and ready for the workshop. No hard selling of the shop's products, even though they were very keen to let us try them. Generous portions of the set meal after the workshop, with drinks and side dishes. Exceeded expectations given this was part of a package. Generally clean, bright and airy restaurant compared to the other chicken rice specialty shops in the area. Not so positive: Taste was decent but not really having something to set itself from the other chicken rice places. We decided to buy two bottles of the chicken rice chilli sauces (which actually tastes really good), but the ones we received looked way smaller than what was shown to us in the pictures. We didn't really want to make a big fuss out of it, so we just paid and left.

Chicken rice was good but this standard can be found at many places at a fraction of the price. At $6, the drumstick was small and ordinary. The gizzard ($1) came in only one tiny piece and was cut into three thin slices. The chilli and uniquely green chopped ginger were tasty and complemented the rice well. It was very busy during lunch time. For such a big business, it was surprising that they do not accept credit nor Paynow.

This used to be a popular place for chicken rice and I have came here for the Hainanese steamed chicken a couple of times wah in the past. But the meal that I had today was just downright disappointing. I ordered a 1-person set meal which the menu stated has a plate of chicken, boiled vegetables, rice and a spring roll. What came was kinda of a facepalm…The chicken was so thinly sliced in order to seem as if there was a lot, the vegetables were ok, but the spring roll was… should I say 1/3 spring roll. The price doesn’t even cover a full spring roll but only a third of it. Overall, I gave a 2 stars for 2 areas: (1) the tables weee clean and beeezy, and (2) the traditional teh (tea) satisfied my morning beverage crave. Only recommend this place for those with a big group to order a whole chicken (which they cannot cut thin slices) or those who are just too tired walking to find a chicken rice nearby

Visited friend near by then had my late lunch here. Corner lot with spacious environment. Other then chicken rice they also selling nasi lemak & fried bihum. Varieties set offer. They don’t have pay-wave service. Overall the chicken rice was good , I requested extra chilly too. But the ice coffee taste cannot make it, not here or there; maybe without ice better.

Thought it come with rice ball but need to pay extra. Place is spacious and clean. Service is fast. Fried rice ball: 3 for $2.50. Interesting and very crunchy. Collagen soup is sweet, thick and taste nice Chicken is tender but steam chicken is better than roasted. Bean sprout too soft Rice is q q and flavour just nice. Not too salty or strong. Overall, tried and done.
