Hi Aviva officer. Thank you for your prompt response with regard to my reviews. Even you investigate I still need to fulfil my commitments on these 2 policies? The most you penalize the the agent. I do not benefit from your investigation. Looking at all the reviews, I am not the only unhappy customers. I blame myself for not being careful. I will just put on social media to warn my friends and business associate on Aviva policy. Actually, I bought an investment policy from Aviva years ago. I lose a lot of money. Thought I give Aviva another chance. Its a big mistake. Thanks. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Worst customer service and their agents have no integrity and very dishonest. I bought 2 endowment plans Easy saver and regular pay from them. Prior to signing, I was told that principal is guarantee and I only pay the premium for 10 years. I assume that I can take the money after 10 years, they never inform that I can only withdraw my money after 18 years. Worst still, The easy pay which I bought is not principal gurantee but the agent told me it is gurantee. After paying high premium for a few years, the I was inform of that I cannot withdraw my money in 10 years and my principal not gurantee. This is misrepresentation. When I called the agent, they already MIA .Why there's no negative ratings. I will give them negative 1000....

poor communication and lack of ownership. I tried to log into view my policy details but was led to a page to register a new account. I contacted the singlife team over email, whatsapp and their helpline to be told that it was a simple duplication of accounts that could be easily fixed. The issue only got resolved after 2-3 weeks - from 30 March to 18 April - even after a few chasers.

A claim of thirty bucks took late Jan till week 2 April . (Taking 2 months over to ask for a page 2 of bill which is actually blank page ) Service level says 14 days to process a claim . In the past Aviva only needs 3-7 days. Highly not recommended and I regret my 2 existing insurances with Aviva that is now with singlife

I bought covid travel related insurance with them as their price is value for the coverage. Initially, I was pretty skeptical buying from them given the low rating reflected online with the health, car and mortgage insurance claim. However, given the benefit of doubts, I took the leap of faith to make my 1st purchase with them, hoping I would be all good for my trip and praying that I would not need to make any claim. Unfortunately, covid caught up with me the exact 1 week before my departure date. How timely. I proceeded to change my flights and cancel my accommodation etc in my covid state. Trip postponement has incurred for sure. I was so worried that I couldn't get my claim from them. Diligently, I submitted all relevant documents and proof. Tadaaa my claim has processed within 21 days and credited into my account via PayNow. Understand others might have unpleasant encounters with Singlife, I believe they are listening and watching their reviews/ratings online. From my own experience, I believe they are working on improvement. Hence, this long post to accord to their effort to be better.

Worst insurance company I have ever encountered. Claim process is damn poor and it has taken me a few months already and yet the status still submitted and require a bunch of docs even my very old report from 6 years back. It used to be very smooth with Aviva. I will not recommend this insurance company after it has merged with singlife.

Tried to get an online quote for car insurance and it refused to work, telling me that I am not eligible. I tried a few companies already and they are all fine. 31/3 It's good that you replied to my review on google. I decided to give it a try again and now it works! However the premium was $100 more than the lowest provider and your excess was $3,000. The excess with the other provider was $0.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have encountered! Bought a policy 15 years ago and now wanted to surrender. Went through and completed all the paperwork with Singlife service advisor in Jan22, until Mar22 still not processed, I raised a complaint and the service operations staff push the problem to the service advisor for not filling the form correctly, finally, the transaction when thru in Mar22 (apparently the advisor fix the problem at his end) and as a result of the delays, my surrendered value dropped by at least $3-4k from Jan22. I am still communicating with them as I wrote this review and they are still pushing the problem back and forth to the Singlife service advisor. As a customer why do I have to bear the losses due to their internal errors. My patience are running out and would consider taking legal actions against them! Terrible company! Bad Service! How can one entrust them with such important life management as insurance policies? If I can indicate zero star, I would do so. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” I must give credit to Singlife for their service recovery. The above issue was settled internally and I was granted exception to backdate the transaction to the original completion date. Errors and complaints are bound to occur and what is important is how the complaints are handled. In this case, Singlife was genuine in their service recovery. I will therefore change my rating to 3 stars. Well done!

I had made claim for simple $20 polyclinic visit two months ago and the status is still Submitted. They need referral letter even for such visit which I had to dig out from them. Website for claim is really slow. Formerly Aviva had improved a service a lot, now back to same old delay and lack of any response unless you ask. Reply to response from owner: I am under company policy and has already contacted your company many times using our broker.
