Unique local flavours inspired cake! They have flavours like kueh dar dar mille crepe, kaya to pulut hitam cakes. Surprisingly cakes are not too sweet and gelat! Price can be slightly higher that other cake shops but the taste and originality makes up for it!

Had a good experience at funan and Joo Chiat outlet and decided to give this outlet a try. However, I echoed the bad experiences in other reviews. Went in and a lady was serving a customer with good services. After the customer left, she was not even serving me. Perhaps was the way I’m dressed - t shirt, jeans and an old bag pack. She just simply stood where she was and answered my questions in an uninterested manner. Tbh im pretty annoyed by her unwillingness to serve me. But still got some chocolates for my friend. It was stated that she was “manager” in the receipt. Simply disappointing.

Bought a few cakes but only liked the Pandan Kaya cake. Three milk cake was too sweet, also not a fan of pulut hitam cake. Was reccomended Nanyang sesame oil and soya sauce but thought the soya sauce was mediocre. Much prefer another local brand of brewed soya sauce.

I was at the square 2 branch around 8pm. Decided to buy a piece of cake. The lady after sweeping the floor decided to handle the food. I asked her to wash her hand in view it’s F&B. I had food poisoning last year and wanted to be healthy. She was not friendly and kind of rude about it the way she handled the situation and query on the available cake.

My husband called earlier to reserve 2 cakes ( Dark cocoa devil's and red velvet cake) for a special event today to pick up between 2-3pm today. My husband was late for 10 minutes and we were shocked to found out the that the red velvet cake was sold out to someone else?? despite the reservation?? How can your staff just give out the cake like that?? Is this how you treat your clients reservation order? without prior notice?? At least a call to re confirm the order in case your client failed to show up on time due to unforseen circumstances. We have no complaints against your cake because it's all delicious but you should do something about your staff, not to compromise your client's special event.

Opps we did it again! ? All you have is this photo taken when we were ordering the cakes!? Surprised to see the underwhelming reviews... Singaporeans have ultra refined taste buds! Guess the owners need to take note as they certainly have some cakes. Given the reviews, here's a tip. Before your purchase any piece of SLICED cake, check to see that the piece has not shrunk in size and or has crusty sides, that's an indication that it has been there way too long... In our humble opinion, cakes should not be slides until it's ordered and should stay in showcases for 3 days max.?✌️ Having said that, theres a reason why there were no up-close pictures of the cakes! We dug in as soon as the box was open and it didn't disappoint one bit.? We are big on cakes and we are big on local desserts ☺️ We love the Pulut Hitam, Gala Melaka and Pandan Kaya. Moist, flavourful with a tab of sweetness. ? The taste the freshness of the ingredients used and how delicate the flavours blend together ... Mmmmmm ?

I gave 4 stars for their pandan Kaya cake. Super moist and packed with pandan fragrant. 3 stars for the dark chocolate cake as the sponge is little dry. Lastly 1 star for the caramel banana cake coz it’s very dry probably stale and no taste of any banana at all.

Bought one slice of each for the cake lover in my household (mom) and she loved the Pandan Kaya best! Moist and fragrant, it was really yummy. The Gula Melaka was too sweet for our liking. Fragrant yes, but a tad too excessive on the sugar.
