Hi Team SIR! Just wanted to thank Amy for her coordination and support. Milo arrived last week after our shipment was delivered which was perfect as I needed the house to be sorted before he came home. He has settled in well and the kids are so happy to see their furry best friend again. Had a great move back home and happy to pass on this super experience. Missing Singapore though!

Thank you James and Team. This was a tough move due to all the restrictions ( COVID 19 Flights ) and increases in freight ( Shipping Companies ) but hats off to a very experience and responsive team at Sir Move Services. Our move from Singapore to Sydney went really well. I am glad I went with a mover that was referred to us.

I have used SIR for two moves now, the first was an overseas move which went through without any major concerns. However, the second move (a local move within Singapore) has been an absolute nightmare experience. First, we made clear that we did not want to pay for any 'concierge' premium service for the movers to place things in cabinets, etc. However, there were a number of miscommunications with the on-site team, which resulted in us having to repeatedly clarify this issue with SIR's on-site manager and main office. In the end, the on-site team despite our instructions claimed they were providing this 'concierge' service, which appears to mean scattering items haphazardly throughout the cabinets and shelves in a way we subsequently had to unpack and reorganize. There was no order to this; the items were almost all in places we didn't want them. This was a total waste of time and terrible experience. We told SIR repeatedly we refused to pay this, which concluded with the on-site manager getting in my face threateningly in our new home (during covid) before leaving in a huff. Second, during the move, our bed frame was damaged by the movers. Predictably, they offered a false and implausible explanation claiming that the damage pre-existed before having to admit that this was false. SIR then sent an assessor to look at the damage and said they would follow up after reviewing his report. The assessor likewise verbally conceded that the damage was new / caused during the move. However, more than 6 weeks after our move, and despite multiple follow ups after meeting with the assessor, the company has gone radio silent. We tried to work this out with the company, and have been really disappointed that we can't get a response. For the premium prices charged, I would 100% recommend using someone else. I don't say this lightly (and I wouldn't post this if they would have owned up to the issues), but our most recent moving experience has been terrible.

I have used SIR for international/overseas shipping and its been an absolute nightmare to say the least. My goods were picked up from my house on 28th March and I am still waiting for my good to arrive to my new location. Its been 4 month and with each passing month they have been asking for various extra charges that were nowhere spoken of / mentioned in the initial quotation. Please be aware, they are a company that will take their customers for a spin. We had received various offers from other shipment companies in Singapore but chose to go with SIR movers as they started off quiet professionally but no we repent on taking this decision. This was a total waste of time and a terrible experience. We are in a new country for over 4 months. None of our goods have arrived and on top of that they are been asked for more money. Well the company is also known for maintaining a radio silence. You will never hear back from them on the status of the shipment of your goods. It just gets untenable! For the premium prices charged, I would 100% recommend using someone else. I don't say this lightly - our most recent moving experience has been terrible with SIR MOVE SERVICES. I can show you screen grabs of emails where they have been constantly threatening me to pay more. STAY AWAY FROM SIR MOVE SERVICES

THINK TWICE BEFORE HIRING SIR MOVE! Speaking from our recent experience, I DONOT recommend Sir Move if you are relocating to London. STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO! We choose Sir Move, because it came back to us quickly with a quotation that is more attractive than the others. What is disappointing is that on the day of moving, there were only two staff, one of whom was really slow and yet they requested one to one hour and half lunch break around noon. I could not agree because of the slow progress and our tight schedule to handover the flat around 5pm after cleaning and catching a plane in the evening. What is really shocking and unacceptable is what happened in the UK. Three people showed up with our boxes and they did ask us if we wanted them to take the things out of the boxes and we said yes. One of them is a really young man who tend to unpack quite recklessly and violently. He broke the leg of a picture frame right in front of me in the process of removing the paper wrappings and he said to me lightly that it is not a big deal and I can attach it back easily. I did not think too much of it and let it go - it is an old frame and not expensive (The truth is it was broken and cannot be re-attached). Then he proceeded to unpack our curved wide-screen monitor which he picked up using one hand holding the bottom left corner of the curved screen. We were concerned at that moment as the screen is long, big and heavy, but naively thought he must know what he was doing and should not break the monitor. We did sign the paper after they are done unpacking and did not check the state of the monitor before signing the release form, which is used by Sir Move as the reason not to take any responsibility. It takes weeks for Sir Move to respond, telling us once the paper is signed, it is not its problem anymore. It might be the norm, but do you want your things to be handled by such unprofessional people/operation? I am sure nothing is done to address this issue and it will happen again. Given the cost of monitor, we would be much better off hiring a slightly more expensive and reputable mover than Sir Move. (not to mention, the staff were making jokes of our things during unpacking! very rude.)

Overall a good service, packing was done well. However, beware of the incremental costs that were not quoted upfront. On the receiving end in Australia the guys from Star Moving who unpacked our furniture were very good. They even fixed a large mirror which came dislodged from its frame. However, we were charged $240 for a handyman to come and fix our bed. Not happy, especially when we found out they usually do it for free.

Took 3 months to get my goods onto a ship, appreciating the difficulties in supply chain I reached out to Facebook groups of other people who were leaving Singapore, none of them experienced a 3 month delay in their goods leaving the country. Communication was none existent, when a company is in possession of everything you own and don't bother to respond to your emails is exceptionally unpleasant. Goods finally arrive, one carton had zero anti moisture sachets in it, just happened to be full of leather shoes that are now ruined by mould, reached out to SIR Moves, unsurprisingly zero response.

SIR Move managed a massive move for us and honestly it has by far been the best experience for us. We have moved many times. I wont name anyone but some of the bigger boys have let us down completely. 5 stars for a helpful and very experienced team with personalised service. Thank you. Highly recommend.
