β β β β β Poor (nonexistent) service. I called about my oven light not working, they said to email. I emailed on 4 July, no reply. Follow up email on 1 august, still no reply. Quality of products also not great. The cooker hood filter gets out of shape easily as the metal frame is very poor quality soft metal. Parts are super expensive. Will not buy smeg products again.
Update: After the response from the company below, I STILL did not get contacted about repair of my oven! If you want to buy Smeg, be prepared to not get any after sales service.

β β β β β OMG! I should have read the reviews first. Only just bought a fridge from Smeg. OMG! Can you believe it! The price quoted doesn't include installation & dispoal of old fridge???. I wonder if this is accepted to the majority out there? The sales services I do not want to comment much. ( if nothing pleasant to say I prefer to keep quiet) I ask about the disposal of the old fridge they kept quiet and didn't want to reply on that. Please be careful and make sure you ask every single questions. If not their sales rep will reply you, " yes we will only answer if customer ask " Amazing!!!! I hope this new fridge will last as long as possible not only a period of 4yrs!

β β β β β SMEG has a reputation as a luxury brand, but it does not delivery value for money, quality and has LOW CUSTOMER SERVICE VALUES. Running away from responsibility and turning away support without checking their list of authorized resellers. Failure of flexibility in providing options. Lack of sense of urgency and basic SOP on basic troubleshooting is an embarrassment. Almost 6 weeks has passed and there is no definitive outcome on my stand mixer.

β β β β β I bought a Smeg blender less than two years ago and now it has stopped working because the blades suddenly stopped turning. The first time I used it, it also gave off a burnt plastic smell and I wished I had contacted them earlier. Now its no longer covered under warranty and we will need to personally take it in on a weekday, during working hours. For a full time working mum with a baby, its not convenient. There are no options to send the product in, or have it assessed by the team, other than personally taking it to the repair centre and paying for an assessment. I've also purchased a Smeg kettle that broke a year ago and went through the same ordeal to get it fixed. Losing faith in Smeg as a brand, as my experience has shown that the products do not last and the customer service is lacking. Looks nice, but not worth the price if you want a product that lasts.

β β β β β Comes with my new house, all the appliances keep failing. Tolerated the endless failures (washing machine, oven, stove, fridge). Then one day less than a year after i move in (but more than a year since TOP due to covid), they quoted $150 to come down excluding parts cost, for my fridge that is condensing on the freezer part (and spoiling everything inside), that i used for less than a year. Not a regular reviewer but if i can save one person from getting a bad product, then this is worth it. Changing my fridge.

β β β β β - How much SMEG reputation cost?
- only $70
.. that's how much they refused to refund despite all the attempts to reason with their customer service, only because they have the RIGHT to do this, so it is essentially their CHOICE to provide a bad customer experience.
I wish I read reviews below before I purchased SMEG appliances. The company is only as good as their aftersales, and this is a very poor one, so think twice before you buy all their fancy looking stuff as you will be pretty much on your own once it stops working.

β β β β β Have my built-in fridge 8 years ago and suddenly it out of service. So ask for service and check what was happened. Before service already paid $150, then technician come and check said the compressor is not working, have to replace it cost $750, plus some test and service cost around $600+, total will be around $1.5k if the fridge fixed. Otherwise have to pay $350 for the testing service with NO guarantee fix. Such a branded fridge with low sustainable quality. You may pay $150+$350 for service without your fridge fixed. And technician broke my built-in fridge stand without paying me any cost too. So think whether this so call branded is worth your money. Thank you and next please.

β β β β β Spare part delivery time 8-10 weeks.
Totally overpriced, $70 for a little switch.
Need to use their overpriced installation service, part is not sold separately.
Hope prospective buyers see these terrible reviews and avoid Smeg like the plague. Companies that fleece their customers don't have a reason to exist and don't deserve any loyalty.
