Been wanting to find a company that can do servicing which also provides quality for the price I am paying for. Plus points: 24 HR service and the technicians are very experienced. He listened to what i wanted to fix but gave a better solution for it to prolong my fridge, washing machine and dryer lifespan. I appreciate the fact that he gave a better idea rather than just being told what to do. Excellent service, do try out !

The biggest problem is getting in touch with them. It is extremely difficult! Definitely NOT 24 hours as advertised. Technician promised but took hours to come. Repair method turned out to be complete failure. Was told to run the fridge after repair for 3 days before cooling resumes. Extremely Noisy, no cooling at all after 2 days! Forced to buy a brand new fridge! Owner claimed they did not repair this LG fridge. I have the messages to prove it!

On 15 April, around noon, I contacted Tipros (found them on Carousell) at 9350 0563 and 8866 7102 to fix my fridge. They sent a repairman who reached around 7.30pm. He analysed the fridge and gave a very extended explanation in mandarin which was extremely confusing. I thought he knew what he was doing and I was desperate to get it repaired so I agreed to a $450 fee which involved repair and pumping in of a gas. As he was repairing he starting being amicable and friendly, complimenting the things in my house and even related a story of how he got cheated by a beautiful Vietnamese girl earlier in the afternoon. I paid him and he left. The next morning, the freezer and fridge worked well but at night, both lost coldness again. I texted them on Saturday night but no reply. On Sunday I started texting them from 8.30am but they only picked up after I called them at 11.30am. The lady asked for the receipt which I threw away. She said there were no technicians today, but she’s not being honest- I used my husband’s number to pretend to be a new customer and she responded that a technician can come today. I also googled and read that many customers have the same experience as me and got cheated around the same amount. I called for another fridge repair person, a trusty one my mum has used for over 20 years, to have a look and he was surprised that the previous repairman just did a temporary fix which would only last a day, it was obvious to him that parts needed to be replaced. My case was exactly the same as the others that’s being reported here. I strongly recommend everyone who got cheated to report them so the police and CASE will have a good case against them. Outright cheats, 0 integrity.

Amazing , got my Hitachi 6 door service by technicians name Paul and Alan . Light on and off , not cold , after repairing inverter board , yes is working till now . Another Samsung unit also no power , on the spot fixed . I highly recommend my friend to them . ?

I engaged this company advertise as "refit" in carousel. The company name is "Tipros" who claimed to work round the clock and have all parts to fit the fridge on the spot. This lady name lyan called me and arranged for a technician to do the check with 20 dollar transport fees n 60 checking fees. I agreed to it. The technician came the next day..n after checking..he commented that my fridge is of good quality n new fridge now doesn't last. He said my compressor is working..But need to add valve to top up gas and need to change x02 micro sensor.. everything cost 419 and my fridge will be as good as new n will last me many many years. He said thou there is no warranty, but if there is any problems I can call office to make necessary arrangements. My fridge alive for merely 2 weeks.and my house got power trip. I didn't know it was cause by my fridge until the next day I realised my fridge is not cold n remind me of the power trip. I called back the office and lyan asked me to unplugged the fridge for 12 hours. 12 hours later, plugged in n on the fridge, heard loud noise..Then my display is off...n the fridge is dead..No sound at all. I called back on Friday morning..lyan asked me to change the fuse. Fuse changed n plugged in..My fridge display is back. But my fridge is still dead..No sound..not cold.. I asked her when can she arrange for a technician to come n check. She said I need to pay for 20 dollar transport fees + 60 dollars checking fees. =80 for her to arrange. It was only 2 weeks after the repair, I don't mind paying for the transportation, but checking? Just 2 weeks after the $419 repair I need to pay for them to check on their own technician work? She insist that my fridge was working after the fix, n it has been 2 weeks, they can't be responsible for it. It is only if the problem happen the within 24hours or next day then they can arrange for a check with no checking fees. (I then read other review, their problem arise next day but yet the company pushed the responsibility) And best part is she told me their technician don't work on weekend! (But they advertise as round the clock service, this is y I engaged them in the first place) I honesty can't trust them to do the second check. So I engaged someone else to do the check. Turn out that my compressor is dead. It could be it is so coincidence that my compressor choose to die 2 weeks after the repair, or wrong refrigerant was use, chocked up the compressor, n cause it to spoil. I can't say for sure that the technician did something wrong to spoil the compressor. But the fact that #Tipros #refit refuses to arrange for a check if I don't agree to pay that 20+60 , and claim that their technician don't work on weekend clearly show that this company is dishonest n unethical. I then googled n found this site, and realised that this happened to others as well! Engage their service at ur own risk. I have file for small claims against #Tipros. I wanted to leave a review on carousel but I realised there is no option to do that, but there is good reviews under their carousel ad (a few all written 10 weeks ago) I wonder y others can leave a good review but I can't leave any review.

I first contacted this company and spoke to Claudia on 30th January to check if they’d be able to repair my fridge as the bottom door had a gap and couldn’t fully close. She requested for me to share a video to better understand what the issue was. Told me require technician to come down to check before they can advise on the solution which will cost $20 (transport fee) + $40 (inspection fee). Technician came on 3rd February to inspect. Advised that the fridge is working well and still cold, and it’ll only require magnetization on both top and bottom doors to FIX THE GAP which will cost $100. He later requested for us to make the payment for $160 so he could proceed with the necessary repair work, which we did immediately. Though the gap is smaller than before, there is still a clear gap there which was the main reason why we requested for them to come down to perform the necessary repair work. I contacted them again (within the next hour after the technician left) to update them that there was still a gap. Instead of trying to schedule for the technician to revisit to try fix the issue, she just kept giving unsatisfactory excuses about how the gap is already smaller than before. We paid $160 to fix the gap as agreed before payment was made. Claudia later told us to monitor the fridge for another 3 days. But nothing changed, WELL DUH the technician didn’t even fix it properly before leaving. She then said that we have to change the rubber if we want the gap fixed, which is not in production anymore so there’s nothing they can do. This should’ve been advised upon the inspection and prior to payment being made so we as customers can decide whether to proceed with the repair work, or to just get a brand new fridge. If the technician had told us from the beginning that there will still be a gap after magnetizing both doors if the gasket isn’t replaced, then we would’ve considered just getting a new fridge instead if the gap can’t be repaired. We later engaged another company to inspect on the issue since Tipros was unwilling to get their technician to do another round of inspection. Turns out it was because Tipros didn't fix the door hinge properly. Before getting their technician to revisit to check on the issue, they started giving excuses about how we need to get the gasket replaced, when the real issue was because of their own mistake of not fixing the door properly. Based on the negative reviews by other customers, the response by the company towards them clearly shows how they value their customers’ satisfaction and the level of service they provide. As mentioned by others, engage them at your own risk. 101% would not recommend this company. Poor service, avoid them at all cost.

Many people here sharing similar disappointing and inferior experience. Pity I didn’t check them up a bit before appointment of job. The man sent by this company fiddled and tinkered around but in the end he suggested pumping coolant/gas. I was a bit dismayed cause I did research and it said by right the coolant should last and not escaped. But because of the sunk cost of $70/- which I had to pay even if repaired is not carried out, I reluctantly agreed. Next come the “act”, he used a device to show how low the gas level is from the desired and then said the company will charge up to a maximum limit of 10 units which is charged by $17/- per unit. So that’s $170. The last straw was that he recommended a special chemical to mix into the gas his reason was that because my fridge is 5 years old so the gas might have gotten stuck so the TH solution is loosen any blockages. TH solution costs $120. I am a housewife, I have children waiting for me to prepare dinner. This guy employ such technical hocus pocus. My total bill was more than $400/- he said his company’s policy is not to guarantee for fridge repair. And when I haggled for a short period of guarantee since I am paying for the magical “TH gas”. He thought for a while and wrote on the receipt “two months warranty on service value” I didn’t understand but trusted him. Fridge was cold for only one day and after that problem started. I called to effect my guarantee. The staff said it only guarantee service value. That my complaint that the repaired fridge is still not cold is not in the guarantee. Please Google for more honourable companies should you decide to repair your fridges. I noticed many of the feedback are of the same nature.
