Sō Ramen @ BreadTalk IHQ Mall

My wife and daughter can't get enough of the tonkatsu ramen. Totally delicious, and you'll slurp it up to the last drop! We don't stay close, so every time here is a rare treat for the family!

This ramen is really quite good! Price is also reasonable..staff is friendly and attentive. Clean, nice and quiet ambience to have dinner here. We tried A3 pork yakiniku and also A4 Tamogo and we really love it. We also ordered Yaki Gyoza the pan-fried pork gyoza.. not too bad as well but must eat it hot. Hot tea is good and refillable. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes.

Slurping my first spoon of their hot tonkotsu soup was a joy. It was lightly fragrant without porky overtone. Rich and smooth without leaving a greasy tacky film in the mouth. Noodle was slightly overcooked for my liking. It has taken up a little too much cooking liquid making the noodle turn doughy very quickly as it stays swimming in the bowl. Second spoon of soup was a great disappointment. The cook in the kitchen did not do a good job at draining the noodle, before placing it into the bowl. So when I tossed my noodle about, this action unfortunately watered down what was a wonderful tonkatsu stock. I loved the stewed jowl and kakuni. Both bursting with wonderful flavours as you bite into them. Lightly torching the char siew gave it a slight char and made it very pretty to look at, but alas it was average in taste. The eggs need stronger seasoning to improve its taste and color. This ramen stall has great promise and potential should they look to improving on small details.

Noodles and the soup is hearty, ordered the pork cheeks and it melt in your mouth. Price is typical ramen price costing between $11- $17. Place is fully Air-conditioned and gives a clean vibe. Staff is attentive and allocated seats quickly. Food takes only 10 minutes to arrive. Parking is plenty around the region. The sprite taste delicious too at $2.50

Visited this outlet for the first time as my wife enjoyed ramen. Decided to order chasiu ramen and don dor myself. Ramen soup appeared to be light on the taste and not my liking. A slightly stronger taste would be better. The ramen appeared to be slightly over cooked. Don is quite standard though the rice should use a better rice for better meal experience. What’s disappointing is my additional order of tempura to go with my don came only after repeated reminder and I have to stop my meal to wait for it. Overall, I feel this is a nominal outlet for a normal meal price wise is reasonable.

Nice place to have ramen! I like the tonkotsu broth ??? They also have a variety of side dishes — my favourite is the crispy whitebait and squid karaage!

Ordered from this shop a couple of time on Grab/Foodpanda. The ramen has always been good. First time dining in here. The broth tasted good, noodles texture was great too! Highly recommended for the price and taste!
