Mighty Velo - The Folding Bike Specialist

I came down last week with an intention to buy the Scooter but end up buying the Segway hoverboard. Very stable and easy to use. Staff give good guidance to stand on the hoverboard. One week on it for daily use and I am on it like a Pro.

This shop after sales service is very bad they require you to leave the bike behind and take one whole day to get it fixed, and when the things they promise to be done some is not done and replace a rusty part for me very dishonest beware of this shop

The Birdy bike is simply lovely. This is their new shop recently opened and it's both sales and service in one place. It was a good experience, quick responses over email and FB PM, and quick and good service at the shop. The Mercury coloured bikes are very nice indeed. The difference between Birdy and Brompton is that Birdy uses non proprietary bike accessories unlike Brompton which makes it a tad more costly and more difficult to maintain and to get the range and selection of bike parts like gears, brakes and so on.

The people are friendly and down to earth. They helped my bike in top shape and very patient explaining to me the details to condition my bike. Take note: you may enter the shop at busy times. Take the queue, be patient and once your turn, they will have dedicated attention to all your concerns.

My wife and I was served by this Chinese slim young man, didn't get his name. Service was very good, really top notch, he was very patience explaining to us how to use our bike in the proper way and how to maintain the bike. Even though one of the bike was wrong colour due to some miscommunication, they rectify really quickly and got us the right colour within the next day so that we can bring the bike to a ride over the long weekend. I will recommend friends to buy a bike from them, for sure. We bought two CarryMe foldable bike, one blue, one orange. Just took it out today and fully enjoyed the ride.

I bought a Reach GT online without testing ?. Fortunately it turned out to be a good investment! The whole process was hassle free. Collected the bike within 10 days. After sales service was also very good. Boss Steven & crew are service oriented. I had some minor issues with the bike (all are my own fault) but they happily rectified them on the spot. Highly recommended! ??

I've been an avid cyclist since early 1990s and In about 2008, I finally discovered really premium folding bikes were available and that this shop (Previously Diginexx) started to bring in really solid brands like Birdy, Brompton, Carryme, Integrated Folding, Bike Friday, Strida, Montague, and most recently Iruka to Singapore. In 2008 I bought my first Birdy bike, which I cycle commute to work daily since then. Its when I first rode a REALLY awesome folding bike. I've had only full sized bikes up to this point. Since that first bike in 2008 I have gone back to Mighty Velo with my wife and over the course of 14 years, we have since bought 1 carryme, 3 bromptons and 3 birdy from them! I have never gotten so many bikes from a single bike shop EVER! I have gone back to them over the years because they have always provided me with impeccable service for my folding bikes. I ride a lot and my wife and I have brought these bikes to many countries, they have served us extremely well. Mighty Velo has also been prompt with my bike repairs that necessitates the use of tooling that a typical home mechanic doesn't have (referring to myself). They have also helped me in some warranty items due to manufacturing defects by helping me liase with the manufacturer/distributors when I run into issues. Mighty Velo has in the last decade grown to a very professional setup that specializes in folding bicycles and I can see why. The owners have become my personal friends and I would continually support such a local business. I have never given them a review over the years because I have been lazy to do so but this is a long deserving one after so many years. Thank you for taking the bold step way back many years ago to venture into this business of folding bikes, for which without you guys. I would have never discovered the beauty, pragmatism and awesomeness niche of cycling even though I have 10 over full sized Road and Mountain bikes. Give them a visit when you can do so (Post Covid), and go for a test ride and experience their bikes and services.
