Here to try their dim sum items on the menu. Some of them are fusion, with a more modern twist to it. Would recommend the superior shark fin soup if you are up for it. The portion are quite generous. The roasted pork is awesome. The skin is super crispy and you can feel the crunch in every bite.

Extremely awful standard, everything is bad. The meat is stale and stinks. I don't ever leave bad reviews but hawker standard is better than this. Tea is bland as water and service staff doesn't fill your teapot.

My second time here for dim sum which both food and service standard are above average. What I ordered: 1. Stir-fried carrot cake with signature chilli sauce 2. Pan-seared 'otah' seafood dumpling 3. Steamed beef tripe with black pepper sauce 4. Minced pork dumpling in hot and spicy sauce 5. Xiao long bao 6. Steamed chicken claws with black bean sauce 7. Steamed wild mushroom and bamboo shoot crystal dumpling 8. Pan-fried pork and foie gras dumpling The oolong tea is nice too.

Apart from the Yu Sheng which is always a rip-off at all chinese restaurants during CNY, their ala carte menu has some interesting dishes such as signature bak chor mee, otak siew mai, XO carrot cake (one of the better ones I’ve tried), avocado cream, everything else is priced pretty decently for a posh looking restaurant and with comfortable seats. Quite a cosy area.

Song Garden used to be one of the favourite dim sum place before covid. However, when I revisit it recently, the quality drop so much and very disappointed. The bean curd of the bean curd roll is hard and dry even with the gravy, it’s definitely not fresh. The xiao long Bao don’t have much soup in it. The HK style ζ˜Ÿζ΄²η‚’η±³ taste terrible with the bad oil taste (perhaps is the very old curry sauce which nobody touch during Covid) and it does not have enough salt. I wonder whether they taste before serving as it’s an off menu item. The rest of the dim sum just so so…….. This meal was just full of disappointment.

One of my favourite dim sum place to go, been here a few times and i must say they serve quite good Hong Kong dim Sum with good service quality from staffs. Friendly staffs and have the initiative to give suggestions if you are not sure what to try. A must try for their egg tarts, very smooth, the crust and egg literally melts inyour mouth. Another must try is their roast pork, crispy yet tender. The mustard goes well with the pork. Their pumpkin congee is nice too. The fried pork intestines is good too, tasted quite similarto the ones i tried in Hong Kong. Not to mention their prawns dumplings, siew mai, xiao long bao,the hotpot sharksfin is also good. For dessert, can try the gui hua gao and also their yang zhi gan lu, quite nice. Overall, is definitely worth at 9.5 out of 10.
