โ โ โ โ โ Decided to give Wah Lok a try after seeing the reviews.
I must say the taste is as good as Hong Kong.
In my opinion is HK standard fare if you miss the taste, or else nothing creative.

โ โ โ โ โ So far one of the best CNY dinner I had, roast sucking pig are perfectly done, the red grouper are steam with perfection even they are fully booked and seated that day.
Yushan are the best, normally I seldom touch it as most are sweet and oily, but this Wah Lok version are fragrance, flavorful and fresh and we finish everything on the plate.
Service is really good, friendly and they are serving you more like an family member rather than they customer.
Soup we change it to the chicken with fish maw as we decide shark fin should no longer in our dinning table ?.

โ โ โ โ โ The Motherโs Day course is not up to expectations. it is either very blend and plain or too salty. Personally did not enjoy the dishes and find it not worth the price. There is no wow factor in the entire dining experience.

โ โ โ โ โ Want to eat cantonese Dim sum and with good service, this is the place. Their food and service is still top notch. I would say price is still affordable for my family. Family of 7, 4 adults and 3 kiddos about 250. We ordered about 10 over different dishes with some double orders like roasted pork, egg tart, hargao, siewmai. Service was prompt and attentive.
Though I prefer elsewhere for their hargao and roast pork.their baked custard bun was the highlight.

โ โ โ โ โ Visited the resturant with the family on a Monday evening and it was fully packed with patrons. We ordered a few items such as the peking duck, salted egg prawns and the lobster mee sua (individual portion) which was from the special menu.
All of us enjoyed the lobster mee sua and the peking duck. The lobster was fresh and came in generous portion while the peking duck meat which was fried with salt and pepper, was juicy and flavourful. The rest of the dishes were decent except the toufu which was almost tasteless.
Dishes were served promptly and service was on point as well. Overall a decent chinese resturant for a family meal ?

โ โ โ โ โ Had impromptu dinner (April 21st, 2022) for 2. Nice ambience. 9/10.
Braised Ee-Fu Noodles good, shrimp / prawns fresh & nice size, however noodles were a tad too salty otherwise full marks. 9/10 rating.
2 BBQ / roasted meats, Roasted Crispy Skin pork (Siew Yoke) & Sweet Roasted Pork (Char Siew). The Char Siew was also too salty (5/10) Siew Yoke fair (7/10). 7/10 rating for nice presentation.
Kailan with garlic nicely done, stems were young & crunchy. 9.5/10 ??
Dessert
Walnut Cream nice but a tad salty. Fragrant taste a bit like peanut (far sung woo) cream. 8/10.
Number 1 item tonight is the Almond Cream w/ egg white 10/10 โญ๏ธโญ๏ธ
Price wise okay. About $115 for 2 of us.
Good enough that we will be back again.

2nd visit Saturday 7th May 2022 for Motherโs Day early celebration get together for party of 10. To try out their dim sum which is served only during lunch.
Perhaps the crowded resturant was overwhelm. The dessert almond paste with egg white was not as good as our first visit. 5 orders. The walnut paste as per our guest was not as fragrant as our first visit.
The Peking Duck is pretty good. They were busy and did not present the duck nor carved it at our table instead it was pre cut at the kitchen and served on a bed of crispy prawn (shrimp) crackers.
The spare duck meat okay. And the fried ee fu noodle remaining pieces of duck was nice.
The century year old egg porridge was ordinary. Not a repeat.
Pei Foo Yuan (shrimp wrapped with bean curd skin & fried) was good.
Carrot cake was soft & smooth.
Braised pork was nice too.
Char Siew Pau was so so. Not a strong repeat.
Service overal was 8/10 they were swamp I suppose.
Our original rating of 5 stars dropped to 4. We agreed their standards has dropped since pre pandemic years. The quest for Dim Sum continues. Next stop Spring Court Dim Sum.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the great chinese restaurant.
Good foods, fast services & attentive waiters ?
Foods were quite good. Some were tasty and acceptable plating. Love the beef mongolian which was very tender, juicy and tasty.
Nice interior too and good place to enjoy small to medium size dining from 2 to 10 people per table.

โ โ โ โ โ Went down with the family for an advance birthday celebration. The dim sum were really well made and delicious. The restaurant had a great ambience as well. Even though it was crowded, it wasn't overwhelming noisy. Highly recommended to make a reservation prior to heading down as the restaurant is usually fully booked especially during the weekends.
Would definitely be visiting again to try the other dim sum dishes!
