โ โ โ โ โ One of the best fishball noodles, their Ingredients are fresh and the chilli is really very nice! Simply love it.

โ โ โ โ โ Wasn't too impressed by the soup mee tai bak - I love lard but it overpowered the delicate flavour of the soup. The dry mee pok fared better. Get the $7 portion for more variety, comes with the additional roll thingy (too hard for me) and fishcake (quite well-flavoured and substantial). Best thing was the fish dumplings. The fishballs were too bouncy and floury for me.
Then again I'm not really into fishball noodles. The hubs crowned this "best fishball noodles" - so all things considered, we will be back.

โ โ โ โ โ Had medium sized fishball noodle and dumpling soup. The portion for the noodles were more than enough for a not so hungry person and the ingredients were generous.
The fishballs are one of the best I've had with a slightly softer texture. The meat dumplings were also good with a unique chewy/springy skin.
Friendly staff is always a plus.

โ โ โ โ โ Decided to try this famous noodle shop after watching Ch8 show that featured it.
Location wise, it's not really convenient as it is not near any MRT stations and there is literally no parking there. The nearest carpark is the stadium carpark which is a good 5 to 10 mins walk away from the shop.
Ordered the medium portion at $7. While the amount of ingredients are good, the noodle portion is the normal portion. If one wants extra noodles need to tell the lady explicitly to add noodles as up-sizing only increases the amount of ingredients and not noodles.
Also vinegar is not added as default. Have to add it yourself as they provided the vinegar at the collection point.
Taste wise it was good, The noodles, fishball and other ingredients are tasty and well cooked. The Fishballs are also pretty firm which is what I like.
The one thing i don't like is that they added too much oil into the noodles. For the portion of noodles it's too much. For those that don't want too much oil must tell the lady specifically.
For those who want to take away, can order by calling them and the lady will tell you to come in how many minutes depending on how busy they are.
Free seating and self service taking the noodles and drinks.

โ โ โ โ โ Located in a rather isolated part of Yio Chu Kang road is this famous fishball noodle place.
Itโs featured on channel 8 and also well known among chefs for good reason.
The winning formula here is the handmade fishballs and fish paste wantons. Fishballs are bigger then usual and very chewy.
Noodles are the usual and you can ask them to add vinegar which I do recommend.
Packing the food will incur some additional cost.
Service is good and friendly.
If you donโt like seafood or the fishy taste in general, this would not be for you. We packed this for our family and some love it, while others didnโt.
So your mileage may vary.

โ โ โ โ โ My friends bought me and my family these noodles on Saturday. On Sunday, we ordered them again. And guess what? On Monday, we had the same noodles for lunch again. It was soooooo good!
Their chilli and fish dumplings are simply delicious and so new to me.
This is a MUST try place if you like fishball noodles and fish dumplings.
The ingredients are slightly different from the usual fishballs stall. There is tau pok. And 3 different sizes. The Mee pok stayed firm to the bite even when packed home. Yummmy!!!

โ โ โ โ โ I started patronising at Song Kee years ago when it was located at Upper Serangoon Road. Those were the days where the fish ball noodles were sold at S$4, S$5 and S$6.
I like their fish dumplings (้ฑผ้ฅบ). The translucent fish paste skin and fish meat are awesome.
The soup can be very oily due to crispy fried pork lard. Suggest that you request not to have it when ordering if you prefer clear soup.
When it moved to Yio Chu Kang Road from Joo Chiat, the price has gone up to S$5, S$7 and S$9. The soup+ingredients (without noodle) is selling at S$8 and S$12. I was fine with the increased in price as the fish balls and other ingredients were much bigger than the usual size.
Visited the shop after some time, glad that the prices are the same, but the fish ball size seem to have shrunk, I.e., no longer the jumbo size?!

โ โ โ โ โ I have always passed by this area but never once tried it. Decided to pack it for my brunch today. Love it. I got the small size but for me itโs a big portion. If you love crispy pork lard and tasty fishballs, you will like this place ?
