Incredibly sad clam chowder. Sure you blended the clams, but the bits don't even add up to the size of one clam ? 5/5 sadness, 10/10 rip-off. no shade to Long John but their clam chowder is at least 2x better and a half of this price

Soul filled French onion soup. I know where to look for when I'm craving. Just wished the cheese toast could be a bigger one. Accompanied by the sweet Thai chicken roll was very tasty.

I chance upon this place when I'm just looking for a quick bite. Bought the teriyaki chicken popiah and mushroom soup at $10+. I wasn't quite convinced that it'll taste good at first. But I hsd a change of mind when I took my first bite and sip. I feel that the price is a little steep for popiah, soup and green tea. For now, I'm still a willing buyer.

I have eaten here several times. Soups are good, bread is good, green tea is good. Masala chicken Popiah was not bad, but it was freezing cold, while the soup and tea were hot. Extremely bad for the teeth and the eating experience. I suggest removing menu items that you can't make on the spot and have to chill.

Innovative lunch sets. I had the creamy Tom yum soup with the popiah set. Not bad. Colleagues had the stew which looked good. Clam chowder looked interesting. Fast service and bench style seating.

Popiah is good but soup is a no go! I usually come by here for late dinner (after 8) and I always get lukewarm soup. It was near closing timing it was understandable that soup is not kept warm anymore. However after my recent visit at 7pm, the soup is also lukewarm. Very disappointing that they do not bother to keep their soup hot. If you plan to dine here, traditional popiah is probably the to go item. So far popiah taste good (since it doesn't have to be hot).

Souperstar makes excellent traditional popiah, unfortunately I don’t have a photo to show how packed it was, because I devoured it too quickly, again. Like Qi Ji, the skin doesn’t tear. This isn’t Cosy Corner or Guan Huat but it is still very good. The Creamy Tomato Basil was great too. Love this chain. Easily my go to for a low calorie meal.

Mushroom soup on the watery side, although taste was still ok. $6.80 for the large bowl. Two unfriendly staff who had no smiles, and made me think if I owe them money. Maybe time to change the sign about having friendly staff? ? Limited seats available at the place, however staff choped the corner table for own use on a Monday late afternoon. Maybe for rest break?
