Recreated our cafe brunch experience in the comfort of our homes. We got a loaf of their cheesy crusty sourdough from @sourhunk! Bb paired his slice of cheese sourdough with creamy scrambled eggs, while bb went with the classic avocado & egg on toast. Whichever way you prefer, these are easy to make. If you're feeling lazy, just eat the sourdough bread with butter because it's that good! ⁣ ⁣ We love how the bread is soft with a crispy crust. The cheese is folded into the dough and when you toast the bread, you get some nice crispy bits of cheese. ⁣ ⁣ P.S. Great tasty sourdough, brioche bread, biscotti and many more! This week Sourhunk purchase as gifts for some of my vegetarian tenant clients!

Had the country loaf. Balanced flavor that is sweet and flavorful but not overly sour nor overpowering. The crumb is a soft and moist network of well-sized gluten bubbles. Beautiful crust decor, good for gifts. Price as pictured.

Relatively new bakery at Bukit Timah Plaza! The owners are really friendly and I bought two loaves — the brioche and a seedy sourdough — to try. I'm not a huge fan of brioche but they'd been freshly baked, and the buttery smell was heavenly. ? As a non-brioche lover, it wasn't half bad, a little on the denser side, really good toasted or grilled. I also liked that the amount of seeds crusting the sourdough was astounding!! I would however have preferred a more tangy flavour, and a more airy crumb — this rendition was a little dense and doughy for me. Their breads are also not that cheap (but not expensive!) — around $12, which is slightly more than my favourites Micro Bakery and Woodlands Sourdough. Nevertheless, giving them four stars as I think they really put their heart and soul into their bakes :)
