★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A variety of bread sold at acceptable prices in the heart of Orchard Rd. The matcha bun is delicious with it's green tea powder and cream filling, at the expense of many calories. A good carbohydrate fix, but definitely not too balanced as a meal.

Food quality, portion, price:
+ Delectable selection of breads, buns and pastries at prices in line with most bakeries. Personal preference of this to BreadTalk.
+ Well-known matcha chocolate cream filling with matcha powder on outside at $3 / piece is a must try! Packed in paper bags that can fit 2 buns.
Service:
Friendly staff.
Crowd:
Expect throngs of people over weekend and the match bun will run out quickly!
Less crowd on weekdays before dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried this bakery that has some unusual types of bread. Staff was quite friendly. I liked the chicken donut ($2) but the custard pan was just ok and the mini croissant was not very good/flaky. Prices are average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love St Leavens at Taka! Same family brand as Four Leaves and Country Brot, but I always come to this branch to get my bakes! It has such a homely taste to it, much prefer them to Breadtalk. I love the soft buns filled with chicken and egg mayo! Super delicious!!! The walnut brownies with chocolate coating is so good! Rich and not too sweet. So many many goodies here!! Have been buying for years! Staff is also very efficient, polite and courteous.
