Nice variety of bread. Their bread is slightly more springy and moist than breadtalk or four leaves. They are also more expensive, some options are better than others. For example, the cheese onion ham bread was nice. But the cheese bacon one was a bit hard and dry. Ham and egg bun could do with more filling. The uji matcha bun was heavenly, pop it into the microwave for 5 seconds for flowy matcha lava.

bought a chocolate croissant $4 and there's barely any chocolate inside. if you want to have high prices please deliver good quality. this would have been disappointing even for $2. business costs might be rising but this is no excuse to cheat customers.

Spent like $24 on 8 pastries.. well.. We aren’t impressed by its taste and yes obviously the price is on a higher side but the value I received, I just don’t feel it’s worth it perhaps for the ordinary $3 buns. For example it’s Mentaiko baked potato bun ?? you can try it.

Their chocolate swirl bread with coffee crumble is my favorite. It’s similar to babka but with coffee cookie crumble in between the chocolate swirls. Cheese melt is sweet and savory with cubes of cheese in between bites. Both have a good filling to bread ratio. I had the mentaiko potato, chocolate pistachio and bacon cheese which are all mediocre. Don Q has a few hits and misses though I must say I really enjoy the hits. Go a few times and you’ll figure out what’s good and what’s not.

Always sporting a long queue, we got a chance to sneak in a quick buy on a weekday evening prior to the dinner crowd coming in. Tried only 2 variants since we already had bought some bread prior: Pain au chocolat- wasn’t the best we tried, and at $4 a piece I was really expecting more. It was a tough/hard bread, with chocolate strips baked into the dough itself. Garlic bread - one could suffer a concussion if this was dropped upon them ? in any case, the light tone of garlic was decent, but similar to the pain au chocolat, it’s yet another tough bread - looks like that’s the theme of the store Probably won’t return again at this price point and quality.

This beautifully golden brown muffin caught my eye. Very simple taste but the texture was spot on, fluffy and lightly sweetened, full of buttery taste. Awesome and only SGD2 for a generous portion!

My wife brought the bread in December when it just came out of the oven and ate it. She said it taste really nice. So I was tasked to buy the bread again and I even brought one for myself. I ate it when I was back home. The bread is not bad. But my wife urged me to heat up in the microwave. Yupe, it does taste better when warm. I don't think it will be buying again unless it come out hot from the oven so that I can eat on the spot.

The bread looks great and smells incredible. Huge disappointment when it comes to taste and texture though - the croissant is not flaky and the mentaiko bread is just wrong (tasted incredibly salty). I tried Donq multiple times and I would only purchase again the small custard rolls which are quite nice but the rest is not to my taste.
